  1. I thought it would have been pretty messed up to start Kopech in the minors 2020. Not so much in 2021 though. The guy hasn’t thrown a competitive pitch in 2 years
  2. I don't agree. I think they have the pitchers to succeed in the playoffs. But depth could causes issues in the regular season.
  3. Im ready to be hurt again

I would do vile, vile things for ten grand off my student loans.

I’m inclined to feel pretty comfortable with this roster right now. They could probably use another pitcher, but also they could be very set on starters.
  6. I'm not saying he's bad, I'm just not going to worry about it if he signs with the twins. He's not going to get away with not giving up home runs to the sox.
  7. I don't think Colome is all that good. So not super worried about it.

The centrist dem that was run as VP to make a black guy more palatable being labeled a socialist is still the funniest thing to come out of all this. the second, is all these Q weirdos thinking they’re having they’re moment in the sun only to have the right wing media call them Antifa Commies.

Normally I am very dumb. But sometimes I am kinda smart.
  10. Surely there isn't a single example of a guy going away from the Pirates and becoming Good
  11. The white Sox would have a better chance to win the World Series by winning their division than the padres will in the wildcard.
  12. I imagine it plays out much like last year. Make your moves. Have everyone handwring for a month or two, then finish making your moves, have everyone say, well that probably will work.
  13. Eaton has had two significant DL trips from two freak plays. It's not like he's a guy tearing a muscle every year.
  14. I really don't see why Joc would be any better an acquisition than Eaton. Or at least so substantially so that it's worth being upset over.
  15. Had a pretty damn good case for WS MVP no less.
  16. This would be legitimately annoying, yes
  17. I'm not super convinced giving Springer the bag is a great idea, so given that I've talked myself into Eaton being the better option than Brantley or Joc. I'll probably end up being wrong on the Springer bit though.
  18. Hell, it's not the first time the Padres and Preller have pushed the chips in and uh that did not go so hot. Being in the NL West must be a miserable existence.
  19. I don't really know the rules, but this feels blatantly against them lol
  20. And are still not the favorites in their division.
  21. I'd probably take the Padres but not if I had to compete with the Dodgers, even with Darvish. Padres may be better but Sox have a better chance of winning a World Series as things stand right this second, assuming the playoffs don't stay expanded.
