  1. Was just going off the cuff at that point not really in response to you.
  2. I honestly love it even if I think it probably won’t end well. We’re going to find out what we have.

If there’s not a minor league season next year, or they start behind MLB, do you say fuck it and give him a trial by fire as a starter?
  4. Managers do not win championships. Baseball Players do.
  5. Giant, Kauffman stan here. What a miserable movie, did not connect the double entendre in the title. Firmly in the Requiem for a Dream category of movies I found fascinating that I will absolutely never watch nor recommend ever again. Have watched Palm Springs a few times already and it does not get old. A+
  6. Getting him back with a few days to see where he is at is a huge win.
  7. right, what I mean is i thought Crochet would be playoff eligible as an injury replacement and I do not understand how that works if the guys he was "replacing" come back.
  8. Will someone explain to me how Crochet can be considered an injury replacement if Marshall, Bummer and Rodon all come back?

Crochet isn’t a tank pick. Vaughn and Madrigal are your tank picks.
  10. I find it hard to believe someone who looks like this is a dumb asshole
  11. I would honestly be content if they lost like an 8-7 game. I just need to see the bats wake up.
  12. Ricky is not getting fired so the entire point is moot. but this may literally be the most nonsensical thing put on this board.
  13. Them going out and scoring seventy five runs in a weekend does the exact same thing to their chances as these last couple have
  14. The manager isn’t swinging the bat.
  15. I’ve watched enough baseball to know teams go through funks and not lose my shit at every one. They have a couple days do figure it out.
  16. Don’t bother fighting the spiral
  17. Never has good as it looks, never as bad as it looks.
  18. Going into a 2020 season you expect to be competitive banking on Andrew Vaughn and Zack Collins (in addition to also banking on Luis Robert and Nick Madrigal) is a bad plan. Bringing in a guy that would block Andrew Vaughn long term (ahem, Nick Castellanos) is a bad plan. Encarnacion and Mazara has been a miss, but the process was right.
  19. There is certainly a reason the 2020 first round pick is on the team, and probably poised for a big role in the postseason and the 2016 one is not.
  20. I think I’m more comfortable putting Lopez out there for a couple innings in the playoffs than cease at this point.
  21. I am FAR from an anti-vaxxer, but I don't think I'll be first in line for a vaccine that was developed in 8 months
  22. With hindsight, I think I would say there is quite literally no one I would have rather hemled the thing. The conversion rate on their young acquisitions is pretty absurd. The only real misses they've had are Collins and Fulmer and getting borderline major leaguers out of the 10-11 picks really shouldn't be all that unexpected.
