There really wasn’t. They got a significantly better matchup by not winning. Limping in kinda sucks, but the bats woke up and well be depending on the best pitchers. I think we all would have preferred they played much better the last week, but that would be mostly eyewash.

I’ve stewed on the fact I was interested in throwing him into the fire, and have come to the conclusion you accomplish the same goal with bummer. It had to be bummer.
