  1. Same people getting mad about Contreras love Tim Anderson. Lol. Keep the same energy both ways
  2. You can count darn near 10 guys ahead of Robert that should be behind him. Hayes, Trammel, brujan, lux, Bart, Sanchez, May, Ruiz, Whitley, maybe Pache
  3. Why isn't it a good stat for relievers? Pitching WAR is based on FIP so is FIP a bad stat? What makes it good for starters and not relievers????? Colome has thrown maybe three less innings than any of the guys I named but they still have twice as much WAR. Its pretty simple, WAR is driven by FIP and FIP is driven by walks, strikeouts, and homeruns per innings pitched. If you just wanna go by FIP instead, he's ranked 62nd. All those numbers say Colome is an above average reliever but nothing more.
  4. There’s no chance the Sox get a top 100 prospect for Colome imo. He’s like 60th in war for relievers on fangraphs. Why would the braves give up waters for Colome when they could send him for Hand, Giles, Doolittle, Vasquez? If I’m a GM looking for a reliever I’d much rather have those guys
  5. Can’t wait til Yermin is DHing for us on the South Side ?
  6. hopefully the Sox grab Jordan Brewer from Michigan in the fourth round
  7. Any chance they go hs again in the third?
  8. What kind of stuff does sikkema have?
  9. 100% feel like Hoese and Busch will be solid major leaguers for the Dodgers
  10. If they pass on Adley it’s probably to save money for a better second pick. They probably won’t save money grabbing Witt so they’d have to get Vaughn, Bleday, Abrams to save $
  11. I think it would all depend on the reason for passing on Adley. If it’s strictly medical, I think they’d 100% go Witt. If it’s to save money, they’d have to go Vaughn, Bleday, Abrams, or Greene.
  12. I think the only two on that list the Sox could get would be Casas and Turang. The braves would probably offer a young starter since they have so many. Slim chance the cubs would give up hoerner unless they get really desperate. With that being said, I’d instantly trade Colomé for anyone on that list.
  13. Josh Nelson just shared a clip of his podcast with Longenhagen on Twitter and he says that he heard that’s Abrams’ camp has been calling around as if he doesn’t have a home in the top 6 at this point. He said it could be due to the Sox settling on Vaughn
  14. Keep talking like that and you’re gonna make me switch back to wanting Vaughn instead of Abrams ?
  15. He has been Juan Soto good though. Soto had 245 and 171 wRC+ in A+ and AA prior to being called up last year. Robert has 296 and 162 wRC+ at those two levels this year
  16. I’m not sure they should be though. Mize is pitching extremely well but he’s a pitcher (lists are usually dominated by position players) and he’s striking out less that 9 batter per 9 innings. As for kelenic, I don’t see any reason for why he would be. Roberts tools across the board all seem better and while kelenic is really young still, he’s only performed in low A ball to this point. Robert tore up A+ and is doing extremely well in AA
  17. Robert has to be a top 5 prospect once vlad, Eloy, Tatis all graduate. Looking through stats of the other guys I’ve seen people still putting ahead of him (Royce Lewis, Franco, Kirilloff, Adell, drew waters), very few are as deserving as he is when you consider all the tools he’s showing. Wander Franco and Gore look like the only ones who you could safely put ahead of him and that’s just because of age.
  18. Robert double to walk off. Absurd
  19. Robert with another double. Can’t wait to see how he hits with the juiced balls in Charlotte
  20. Eloy looked good today too. A couple hard hit balls right at people
  21. Flores got pulled after 2 innings. Anyone know what happened?
  22. How does Abrams’ pre draft profile compare to Francisco Lindor’s? Also, has anyone read anything about bleday’s bat speed? Haven’t really seen much about him other than his stats
  23. This dude has a future in the mlb. And yes I know he’s 26 but he’s never had a bad hitting season in his minor league career
