If I told you before the off season started that the Sox would get grandal, castellanos, and hamels plus a few lesser free agents, I can’t imagine you’d be upset by that. That’s a damn good off season id say. I will say the Sox should absolutely go after ryu before hamels though. I don’t see ryu getting anything too crazy

I’m very interested depending on buy in. Haven’t played fantasy baseball in quite a few years and never a dynasty league. I’m quite obsessed with fantasy football however and would love to get involved with this!

I think at this point I’d go all in on getting Dustin May. I’d offer bummer colome and Garcia for May and a lower prospect. Having May along with Kopech, Giolito, cease, and potentially a free agent arm could be unreal for a rotation in the future.

I’d offer colome for Willie Calhoun right now.

I’d look at what the A’s got in the Doolittle/Madson trade from a few years ago as a comparison to a bummer/colome trade. Pretty dominant lefty and an above average righty both with at least one more year of control. The As got Neuse, Lazardo, and a struggling Treinen. I’d say the A’s duo was a tad better than the Sox duo at the time of the trade tho

I really like leury but I’d try packaging him with colome to get a really solid prospect. That’s the only way I see either of them netting a good return

I agree with this. Baez specifically does this and its the main reason I don’t like him. He’s always bat flipping and celebrating but when a pitcher celebrates he gets pissed
