Why don't we let this work itself out. We won't know for another 2-3 years if Taylor is a starter or relief pitcher, Like Sale and Crochet. Right now just enjoy the kid pitch and help the beloved.

I will hold my hand wringing until both Jac and Smith have played in the Majors. The value of what Smith could "Potentially" be is through the roof. Can he get there, let's see. Jac has won the 1st step of getting to the Majors before Hagen. Lot to Be Determined still.....

You may be 100% spot on..........I would like to see him get a chance to prove you right. I have an issue with giving old journeyman guys chances like PALACIOS and many others on this team but giving Elko a real chance. Maybe he will prove you right BUT maybe he may prove to be a decent MLB player. I would rather give him a chance then many of the jabronis on the team now.

At this point let him bat 7th, play a good CF, and steal everytime he gets on base. We are going to get a bag of balls for him right now. He is a major bust, to me it's all mental.

I think we just need to give up the Elko thing as clearly the White Sox don't see him in their plans. He will wind up somewhere and hit 25-30 homers and strike out a ton (i would be ok with that on this team). Maybe there is a bigger plan with Teel moving to 1st that we don't see. I don't know, I just know i trust nothing with this organization.
