Don't talk sense around here...... We have so much hate for this team/organization that we can't understand we have a super star on our hands that we should be building around

I understand the negativity around here because this organization deserves all the hate. However, putting that aside did any of you think we were going to get anything for Bummer? You took fliers on 2 starting pitchers and one who has had a track record of being a really good pitcher before Achilles injuries. This is a damn good trade for AARON BUMMER Ok......now back to hating this organization.

Jason is fantastic! I wish him nothing but the best. However, I'm not going to sit here and get myself up in a tizzy over this. There were many dynamics that we don't know or understand as to why this happened. Best of luck to Jason and I hope he announces a bunch of White sox v tigers games where the Tigers get their ass kicked. I will still watch the sox not matter who is the announcer. There are no more Hawk Harrelson's out there.....

I'm taking a wait and see approach. I understand that moves that have been made. I'm not all doom and gloom like some others here because I do believe there is untapped potential with certain players on this team. However there are many holes to fill....... Let's see what happens. Maybe I will be pleasantly surprised or maybe we continue to status quo mediocrity. This team killed a lot of my energy and fandom as a white sox fan last year.

I lived with the idea that TA was our next great Frank and Paulie. Then he went out and performed and brought us moments like the corn field walk off. .........best of times I felt like TA we going on levels of Paulie and Frank ........ My kids bought his jersey and I sent out TA meme's after wins to my cubs fan friends and family Then..........it all fell apart. TA fucked up TA.......and fucked up this team, organization, and himself with his issues. I'm numb to TA He's going to go somewhere and be a great baseball player, because the real TA as a baseball player is not what we saw last year. I'm going to be sad but sometimes you realize separation is best for all.

Are people here really seriously suggesting that Elvis Andrus is a better player than Whitt Merrifield? F your stats.......do you all watch baseball? Andrus was absolute garbage for April, May, June........you can't win with guys who perform for 1/4 of a season.

TA will be playing 2B for white sox next year. Write it down...

Interesting developments in his case.....

There are people in the organization who believe that Montgomery may be your starting SS on opening day. That means that Anderson moves to 2nd or gets traded.

Clevinger has pitched well this year.

I won't expect it BUT I hope this is the Yoan we see for the rest of his time in a White Sox Jersey.

Colas is a bad baseball player right now who is regressing. I actually like this move..... I'm sure there is more to this but I'm perfectly fine sending him down.

Harold i always appreciate your thoughts and insight. Could you please elaborate on your excitement and why you think he's the guy for this organization? I want to give Getz a fair shot but all I heard from talking heads is that he is not qualified....

To be Honest with you.......I don't believe these talking heads. No one knows what is going on and what is going to happen. I will hold off until something happens to make declarations.

This organization deserves no sympathy but the local media seemed to jump to a lot of conclusions because it's en vogue to burry and beat on the White Sox (All deserved).

This is a good move. It wasn't suppose to be this way but led by Kenny and Rick this organization fell on their faces. I was never a guy who disliked Kenny. Kenny always went for it and tried, sometimes foolishly. I thought Rick was a brilliant mind when he took over but it never worked and we found out that Rick was kind of a fraud who talked a impressive game. Moving on.......anyone who thinks that Getz or someone internal is going to be a GM doesn't see what is happening here. I dislike Jerry but if Jerry is going to fire Kenny then no one internally will get this job. I'm glad to see Jerry has a pulse and seems to be pissed at what has gone on. I'm excited for the next chapter but honestly I can't handle another 3-4 year rebuild. I want to see things turn around and this maybe a start.
