tTilson contributes in a lot of ways. Defense and speed are both very good and he is what they call a pesty hitter.

Our pitchers all look better when McCann catching. Wonder why!

I imagine after a couple off days McCann probably has cooled off and it will be alright to bring him back into the lineup.

I bunt of course. Just wondering where would I find a Sox hitter who has been that hot.

My point is he certainly did have input and is part of the three headed decision making team. There is no blame when you are all in on the decision.

It was a more reasonable action for the situation then his usual. Even Stone & Jason discussed it from different angles.

Jimenez, Burger & Collins have all been mentioned to be better suited to 1B / DH rather than outfield, third & catcher respectively. Time will tell.

He's one of the most hands on owners in baseball. This guy is not sitting at home wondering how the team is doing. There are very few days he doesn't talk to RH. Might be guilty of many things but not caring isn't one of them.

Lets not corner the market on 1B / DH. We already have 3 or 4 high draft choice people who profile for this.

We have a much better chance when we lead off with the 8 & 9 hitters then turn over the lineup. Our 4 & 5 are a dark hole.

I'm just being a wise guy. Actually, I am a very optimistic fan but these lineups are driving me nuts. You could pick nine names out of a hat and make more sense of it.

Apparently.

Alonso batting .176 followed by Castillo hitting .169 in the 4 and 5 slot in the batting order. It's hard to believe we're trying to win. I'm pretty sure 99.9% of fans could find a lineup with a better chance of being productive.

Along with Cease, Robert and Madrigal.

I could make do without ever seeing Castillo in the lineup.

Kind of like the Garcia 2B.
