Lets get McCann on this All Star Team! He deserves it, he is a good person, and works his tail off. He is a better hitter right now than Sanchez who is a strikeout machine and has a huge advantage in average over Chirinos. Santiago had a 4.50 era last season in over 100 innings pitched. Not bad considering our pitching situation this season if Santiago can repeat. But first give Detwiller a chance,he has earned it. Not sure if they are going to give Fulmer a shot either.

Even though Collins was out in that play, it was a good at bat, he worked the count by knowing the zone and then made contact and made the defense work.

Actually its good to have on base guys at the end of the batting order as well, especially in the 9 hole, just not as good as the 1 and 2 spot, so that way the lineup can be turned over to the top of the order. If we have free swingers, players who like to hit a HR or K, should be in the 6th,7th and 8th spot. Tim Anderson has shown he is more of a free swinger.

Robert has 133 K's to only 47 bb at the minor league level. Unless he improves Madrigal would be a better option at leadoff since he will work counts and get on base. Madrigal should have a higher average as well. Right now Madrigal has an absolute outstanding walk to k rate as he as 27 bb to 12 k's in the minor leagues.

This is sweet. In my opinion its Mendick's time to play 2B at the Big League level. I would also teach him to play RF and 1B so when Madrigal comes up Mendick can still have a spot.

Im fine with Eloy hitting clean up. How about this vs. RHP: 1-Tilson 2-McCann 3-Moncada (vs.righties only, other wise Abreu) 4-Jimenez 5-Abreu 6-Alonso 7-Anderson 8-Jay 9-Mendick

Kyyle has proven my point in his last post. SI1020, Im happy to stick with baseball and that is what I was doing until they started to negatively comment on my faith for no reason but to silence me and comments I made on a thread months ago. I get it though, everyone is a little on edge after the Cubs had us whipped up.
