I love the speed and the pick with Beard. Not the best swing, needs work, but if he is the fastest high schooler then this is a good pick. Gotta get my guy from Army Jacob Hurtubise sometime in this draft.

My problem with Abrams is that he is a skinny guy who is not projected to have power but has a power swing. I don't like his swing for his body type and skill set. Unless he gains lots of pounds.

There is no such thing as luck, nothing happens by chance. Everything that happens is God working in your life for a reason. It would be nice to say that it's luck so no one can take accountability, but finding good players is skill and developing them is skill too. The key though is to find the player that wants to develop.

If Covey can give us 6 innings and only give up 4 like he has his past few starts, maybe we can rely on offense to pick him up. Banuelos on the other hand, in his last 4 outings has given up 9er,5er,5er,5er all under 4.1 innings pitched. If I were the Sox I would find a replacement for him before he makes his next start.
