USC's losses were nothing exceptional, they just lost two games. Iowa lost one game and there is no reason to jump USC past Iowa unless Iowa screwed itself by ending their season a week early while USC was on prime time football and the voters are idiots.

Where in Ohio - the very northwestern tip wouldn't be too far from Chicago. Columbus - Cincinnati - Toldedo = way too far Although I would never live in ohio myself. Iowa should definately absolutely get the Rose if they do not go to Fiesta. I can only hope that Georgia loses to Arkansas and the BSC works out that Iowa goes to Fiesta or Rose. Looking at the weeked scores there is no way for Michigan to go to Rose. Alabama is going no where because of course they are 2nd time probation for cheating and only their reputation saved them from an SMU-style NCAA death penalty for repeated NCAA violations. More like cheat Tide cheat than roll tide roll... sotry HSC but I call it like I see it - I did not say yet that ND will get a bowl bid they do not deserve YET but it is likely. If somehow Iowa gets in the Fiesta Bowl, Michigan could go to the Rose as the 3rd place Big 10 team. Absent that, Michigan will either go to the Citrus Bowl for I think the 3rd or 4th time in 5 years or the Outback Bowl and Penn State goes where we don't. Whatever way, we play on New Years Day. Notre Dame I have heard was slated for the Orange Bowl, win or lose yesterday.

I am going to chime in with HSC here - oldroman is asking because he is trying to learn and for that I give him full credit. Give him the benefit of the doubt because he learns fast. And as far as the whole discussion, until you posted the eligibility about the HOF I didn't know that at all about deceased players, nor about the difference between last year's deceased players and their playing time. So I thank you a great deal because I learned something that I needed to know!

I must have turned it off before the ND fight song, which is way over praised but no where near as sickening as that USC thing, which si even worse than Boomer Sooner. I will admit that the ND thing with the 1812 overture is kinda of cool, but don't quote me. Where the hell did you get that Baby Got Back remix? USC just got the call that ND usually does. Go figure.

Announce the JoeyBatters thing sometime on a non football night, so I can make plans - right now I watching ND and USC without a clue who to cheer for. All I know is I want Georgia to lose next week, and have Iowa and OSU play in the Fiesta Bowl so Michigan can go to the Rose Bowl. So I suppose I have to pull for USC because as 2 loss team they won't hurt Iowa in the BCS, but I hate USC. But then again, I can't pull for ND either!!!!!! I suppose this is off topic. I agree absolutely. I am not as much concerned about who plays for us right now as opposed to whether who we have can play the game. I'd like to know that we had some good teaching and coaching going on. The base running blunders last year, the last two years, have been horrendous. We've blown a bunch of games on some stupid mistakes.

Ahh, that looks like three reasons to me... If you ever had your ass actually kissed, you'd know the benefit of it - it feels good... However, you do deserve the recognition and I am glad that Heather gave it to you. (Heather's post was no ass kissing, it was deserved recognition.) I have watched you guys work on this site for a few years now and it has really gotten to be great. A lot of people talk but you guys actually did it, and you have kept improving it and working on it and tweaking it to make it really good. You've created a great alternative or a great compliment to the MLB message board on the one hand, and on the other hand, you guys have made a great site in and of its own self. I am impressed and I thank you again. Even if you can't count... By the way, this is my 69th post - a milestone -
