It is looking good - I really missed this place last night!!!! and glad to see it back up - how come I went from member 30 to some 100 number? So the Big 10 will go 4-3 and is over rated? One reason to never talk trash and never base your bashing on what is assumed will happen... The Big 10 has 3 teams in the top 10, inlcuding the #1 team. The Big 12 has 3 teams in the top 10. In the one head to head match up, Wisconsin at 6-6 beat a team that played in the Big 12 championship game. So I think the Big 10 can arguably claim being the top conference. At worst, they are one of the top two conferences. Oh how I hate Ohio State but how sweet last night's game was for all those who know the results before the games are played... and the Big 10 did alright in their 7 bowls!

Whatever school you are whining about, and whining big time you are, class, all time whine, you think your school that you whine about is the only one in the country that has injuries? How self-involved. And, LOL. The Big 10 is 4-1 at this moment, and is assured a winning record in the bowl season. Not many (if any) conferences with 3 or more bowl teams can make that claim. Minnesota absolutely stomped a team in the SEC title game. A 6-6 Wisconsin team whipped a team in the Big 12 title game. Purdue, a so-so team, calmly came back from 17 down and took out a Pac 10 team. I think whatever happens the next two days the Big 10 has done itself very proud in the bowl season and remains one of the top conferences - if not the top one - in the country. Big 10 middle teams are whipping the teams that played in their league's championship games. Hey, a note to Psycho: I was disappointed too. I always pull for the Big 10 team and was hoping PSU would pull it out.

Of course with the Dolphs up by 11 with 3 minutes to go I knew that Tom Brady would do it again - he is the best for keeping cool and pulling it out. Always trust Brady to find a way. After all, he is the guy who kept Drew Henson on the bench for 2 years. Henson was a better player, but Brady's results, can't argue with. The Dolphs need better (head) coaching. Their road record is pathetic and so was the play calling on Miami's last possession. It would have been cool if it had been a four way 9-7 tie! Maybe next year -- I cannot cheer for the Jets in the playoffs, although I would usually go with a AFC East team. I may have to go with Oakland with the numerous UM players on their roster, especially the great (to me) Charles Woodson. Pittsburgh sucks, Indy sucks, the Jets suck, what the hell is a Titan - guess I have to go Raiders for my cheering interest this post season. However, come Super Bowl, I will be for the AFC team, whoever it is. I see the Sabres are being talked up by the NHL as leaving Buffalo. That would be a shame.

I take the Terry Bevington approach with him - I was a there before him and I will outlast him. I was very unhappy when he was hired and just have to wait it out. It was all there, all there for the Dolphs, they just had to finish - if you had Ricky Williams who had run for 170+ yards, were up by 3, and had the ball at your own 3, 2.25 minutes left, would you throw 3 straight passes? Only Wannstedt would, and did. But then Bears fans know how that goes. What a damned fool.

I have been waiting for you to post about the meltdown of the Dolphins in the last 3 minutes of regulation time (I never expect a Wannstet coached team to win in December... but this time I was really pissed) and then the collapse of the Packers which knocked both the Dolphs and the Patriots out of everything -- the Jets?????????? What a disgrace to the AFC East.

If CLee improves defensively from 2002 to 2003 as he did from 2001 to 2002, I will be satisifed. And I wouldn't mind if on afternoon games he would wear his sunglasses over his eyes and not on his hat for the first several innings. But I am for keeping CLee. Maybe with Waving Wally gone, his baserunning will improve. There is a lot of offense in that bat that I do not want to lose.

I whole heartedly agree that Harrington is the real thing. We are awaiting the Ford family to decide what to do about M & M. Morningweh has to go after that OT thing in Champaign and Mullen probably has to go too, not sure about getting Parcels, Dallas seems to have his ear... the surprise choice might be - and I am totally against this but it seems that it will happen to me - Nick Saban.
