This is way after you asked the question, but I had this same problem with people who used to live across the street from me who played thug rap blasting all day long and I could hear it in my house even with the tv on. (And I love rap, but as you say, they were playing the s*** of the s***.) I put my speakers in my windows and on my porch and played, full blast, opera (helps that I love opera and have some cds) every time they played their thug rap. They came outside and looked a me, I looked at them, they said, "oh, maybe we are playing our music too loud" And the problem was solved forever.

Maybe he gets so much orange Tang because he thinks he is an astronaut, or he is too cheap to buy real drinks.

ya da man, thanks!

I could almost have a non-sexual orgasm at picking up Perttite on those terms.

will the Sox payroll be even 1/4 of what the Yankees is?

Good point, I stand corrected. You're right and I'm not.

"Toad"? Please help me out with who Toad is the nickname for... thanks! Just what I call Todd Ritchie Well now that makes all the sense in the world Can you enligthen me as to whether we can resign Ritchie for the opening of the season in March, or do we have to wait until May? I have heard it both ways. I would not mind at all having Ritchie back in the team, and I think the Sox were right to handle this as they did because Ritchie was not worth the least we could have then signed him for. Although if we lose him, I will b**** that we should have signed him at the minimum possible and not released him in December because there is no way that he can be as bad in 2003 as he was in 2002 and as a 4th - 5th pitcher, we need him. I would love to see Parque come back for us. Not counting on it, but I always liked his attitude and I still think manuel took him out one inning too early on the fateful October day in 2000 - Parque coming back could be the feel good / come back story of the year in 2003. Then again I'd like to trade Jose Valentin and Jason Dallereo (spelling) to the Yankees for Pettitt, so maybe I should put the crack pipe down now.

Our batters will be batting against the thin SP throughout the league. In thinking about the 2003 season, it is not just what we have and what we haven't got, but the same for every other team we play - what do they have and what haven't they got? I would love to see us trade for Pettite (if we can not give up anyone that I like ) or sign another 4th pitcher, but not at the risk of giving away too much simply because it is more than we have, it is also what everyone else does not have either.

How many wins did Garland and Wright have in 2002, factor in the normal improvement one year to the next, add a few more wins to each, and we are looking pretty good with a rotation of Buehrle, Wright, and Garland. Not career years are needed, just normal progression. Then for the 4th pitcher - whether by committee or Rauch or Biddle or someone seizes the opportunity - all we need. Is it that diffferent than what Anaheim did in 2002?

its not age, it is your dazzling beauty that causes these confusions. I am ready to see Almonte in the WS uni come opening day (pending a good spring training of course!)

Wanna hear some old Sox-and-Roll sound bites?

Just wait until Royce's magic bat and super glove destroy that minor league north side team -- then you will love Royce! And as you know, I said a long time ago it was time for him to go, and Jose too. Let the future play, Harris and Jimenez. -

Yeah, it was a bit uneven and the music was a bit louder than the talk and kind of was blowing my speakers - haven't spoken to Baggio enough to recognise his voice (met him only once, will have to make up for that in 2003). But I caught your voice and HSC's and JoeyBatters. Was fun -- I didn't hear anyone reading my don't bash Royce emails which I think I sent a bunch of one game, too bad that wasn't archived because I could imagine your all responses! -
Awesome, was wondering how long it would take you to find this thread HP will always have a special place in my White Sox heart. I'll help you look for the Perry jersey at SoxFest!

I'd agree with that. When Rocky is smoking (2001 Saturday home game against the scrubs) I can see him someday throwing a no-hitter IF he stays healthy and IF he can keep it going for 8-9 innings as needed.

Is that HSC's voice I am hearing? So good to hear some familiar voices in the bleak of winter -
For some reason I found his stats on the WS MLB site, but not his name on the roster, and as I ame asily confused, that befuddled me. That is why I was wondering if he is on an AA roster or maybe the WS 40-player roster. Or elsewhere. His stats look phenominal, especially as you, in the park he pitched half his games in. I would love to see this guy continue those stats in a WS uniform. Thanks for your help on these things - a person could ask a question for months on the WS MLB boards and never get an answer.

Come on CredeFan, a special JoeyBatters on politics board would be awesome! Maybe we need a RPS giving sexual advice board too, that would be interesting! Hey, Chisoxfn, I think all your work is cool - got to now practice on the bold and color stuff - you guys are doing a great job here!

I have to post 500 times to be a starter? I...

Looking for Tony Richie stuff I found this: http://www.sportplanet.com/sbb/vesuvius/cb...chietony01.html very impressive to give all the stats from 2003 through 2009. I went looking for the White Sox future results so I could make some wise bets, but no luck. What the f*** is the CBL or whatever anyway? All these future stats seems more a little wierd.

FSU is bragging on how he went there rather than sign with us. http://seminoles.ocsn.com/sports/m-basebl/...hie_tony00.html What are the odds of us drafting him again? I think we need all the catchers we can get, so we can get one to back up Olivo.
