Agreed, if Frank is gone, Carlos should be hitting third. Even if Frank is still here we might need a new #3 hitter. If Frank continues to only want to hit HR he has to be moved down in the order. Sadly, almost everyone on the team is only trying to hit HRs. I hope our new coach can perhaps get our hitters to stop going for homers every at bat.... i mean, its nice when we do have our homer streaks...but we all know what its like when we're not hitting dongs.... Depressing to say the least

I must say that i've never seen a thread with this many essay's posted... It took me 15 minutes just to read this whole thread, and its only 3 pages... Anyway i like the thoughts of Marte starting, and also definitly trying to get rid of at least one righty out of this lineup... I'm sick of seeing Jose batting right handed, and his .230 average isnt cutting it for me..... but who would we have play shortstop, cause im not sure Graffinino is your everyday guy.... anyway... This offseason is going to last forever... Im so glad Illinois basketball is starting soon!
