  1. Hendricks looks cashed. Dude has thrown a ton of pitches over the last few years and is on the wrong side of 30. Good for him for getting his big pay day. I just wish another team would have given it to him.
  2. Bullpen has been one of the worst in baseball. Only place to go is up.
  3. Bullpens are extremely volatile and extremely important in modern baseball. Preseason it looked like the Sox had a good one on paper. The results haven't been there so far. Two big concerns so far are Bummer and Hendricks. Both of these dudes are locked up for a long time and owed a great amount of $$. Bummer has to start getting lefties out. Hendricks honestly looks pretty cashed out. Every single outing has been a struggle for him. Oakland put a lot of miles on his arm. Hopefully he doesn't implode.
  4. Can Anderson also pitch in the bullpen? Half the bullpen are absolute gas cans right now.
  5. There are like 10 teams around baseball saying the same thing. Sox aint anything special.
  6. Lmao. Hendricks just got one of the biggest contracts in Sox history. He was paid big $ to get saves. How in the world is him being terrible on Tony?
  7. Letting Hahn and Williams architect the rebuild was not a wise move.
  8. Didn't he just sign a long contract extension? Not sure why that was necessary.
  9. It's the nature of relievers. Most are extremely volatile from year to year.
  10. The game also seems too fast for Lil Nicky especially on defense. Kelenic was sitting right there for the Sox taking but they decided to take the "safe" pick instead.
  11. Gotcha. Reinsdorf is actually a huge reason on why I was anti-rebuild. I never thought he would actually pony up the $$ to put the team over the top.
  12. I'm new to this forum but I was a big anti-rebuild guy. All I heard from Sox Nation during the tanking years was to be patient and that a juggernaut Sox team was coming. This season obviously isn't over but this team doesn't look much different from the tank years so far.
  13. It is year 5 of the rebuild. This team should be a juggernaut that is ready to take the American League by the Balls. The Northsiders did it to the NL 5 years back. The Sox can do it too.
  14. Of course they will spin excuses if this season falls apart. What else would they do?
  15. Damn straight. This is year 5 of the rebuild. No more excuses from Hahn and company about how this team is still "one more year away".
  16. Dude is a gas can. Relievers like him are a dime a dozen.
  17. Foster needs to be cut. League has figured him out. He will be out of baseball in two years if not sooner.
  18. I can't believe we are five years into a rebuild and Billy Hamilton is on the roster and playing everyday. This is not the way.
  19. He's likely still hurt. Back issues don't really go away most of the time. He could barely get through a 60 game season last year.
  20. Moncada looking more and more like a one year wonder with each passing day.
  21. Sox should have flipped this kid for something when they still had the opportunity to. He is still a massive work in progress and the Sox are no longer rebuilding.
  22. This team is giving significant playing time to Billy Hamilton. There are serious leaks all over the boat and they need to get patched up soon before the whole ship goes down.
  23. Foster was a one year wonder. Him and Marshall are going to be huge liabilities all year.
  24. Yep. He has some serious work to put in. Hopefully he doesn't take him a couple thousand at bats to figure it out.
