Kelenic for Madrigal and Crochet. Mendick and Luery can cover 2nd for the rest of this year. Get er done Hahn!

Hell yeah. I would prefer Bryant but Gallo is a good get as well. Dude is under contract for next year as well. Give them Crochet plus if that is what it takes. The time for prospect hoarding is ovah!!

WHITE SOX SIGN BRIAN GOODWIN
Gonzalez, Sheets, and Adolfo are all bums. The Sox tanked for 3 plus years and still couldn't build up a decent farm system.

Gonzales has no chance against mlb pitching and the Sox know it. Guy will likely be out of professional baseball in 18 months or so.

Dumpster diving in May is sad. It is also sad that Luis Gonzalez is bad at baseball and that the Sox couldn't develop any outfield depth in the minors over the last 5 years.

What are Charlie Tilson and Ryan Cordell up to?? Let's bring them back. Maybe call up Trace Thompson and Jacob May as well.

This is so sad. Dumpster diving the first week of May.

Yep. The big worry is that JR claims the Sox are tapped out financially and no new pieces are added.

How so?

Agree on Bryant. The Sox can live with Adam Engel as the everyday center fielder if they bring in a big bat like Bryant. Probably won't happen though. A lot of Sox fans and Hahn included seem more worried about the 2023 season than winning ball games today.

Giving up Crochet for Bryant would be awesome. There is plenty of room for Bryant's bat in this lineup.

I'm talking about the tank job that started on the South Side in December of 2016 when Sale was traded to Boston.

Nice to see another anti-tank guy around these parts. We seem to be in the minority. Most Sox fans seem to think that tearing everything down and punting multiple seasons was the only way forward. The Yankees don't have to tank because they have an ownership group that spends big $ and an extremely competent front office. Cleveland would be a more apt comparison in my opinion. The Tribe haven't had a losing season since 2012 and always have a bottom barrel payroll. You are right in regards to Hahn I suppose. There is absolutely no pressure on him to win this year so I'm not sure why he would rock the boat. Hahn will likely just continue to be the yes-man that he is. My only hope is that maybe Larussa gets in Reinsdorf's ear and is able to convince him to take on some salary in a trade.

Gallo sounds good to me. Left handed bat with a high OBP and massive power. Dude won a gold glove last year too. Dealing Crochet for Gallo is a no brainer for me. Let another team deal with Crochet's inevitable arm injuries.

Hell no to this line of thinking. I thought the tank years were over. The Sox can't keep kicking the can down the road another year and waiting for a "contention window" that may never open. It's time for Hahn to get on the phone and start doing some work. No prospects should be untouchable at this point except Kopech.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
Garrett Crochet is years away from being an elite starting pitcher. He is way way more likely to come down with a forearm strain and end up on the shelf for 2 years like Kopech or Burdi. Hell Crochet is hurt as I'm typing this. Getting Bryant for Crochet would be an absolute coup. Trading Crochet isn't going to make the Sox cellar dwellers by 2023. It is time to grab the American League and Al Central by the Balls. We sat through years of losing on purpose and garbage baseball. No more excuses. The time to win is now!!!

How is trading Crochet for Kris Bryant pushing all the Sox chips in??? Crochet is a ticking time bomb injury wise. The kid is also years away from joining the starting rotation.I would trade him for Bryant right now without hesitation. As a fan I'm tired of hearing all this talk about maximizing the backend of a potential window. You are talking about something that may never happen. The American League is weak right now. Let's go get Bryant and win the AL pennant!

Bryant is healthy and having a monster season so far. He would be the best hitter in the Sox lineup and can play multiple positions. I want to win a world series not just tread water all year.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
Seems like a pretty fair trade to me. Would leave a hole in Sox bullpen though.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
I would send Garrett Crochet across town for Bryant in a heartbeat. I'm talking a trade today though not one one July 31.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
The future is now. Sox are 5 years into a rebuild. A lot of Sox fans are tired of talking about the future. The division is right there for the taking. if Robert is going to miss multiple months then Hahn needs to make a move.

Hendricks makes more $$ per year than the entire Cleveland bullpen as well.
