That is 412 swoon points, IMO. One for every foot that may have traveled.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 10, 2008 -> 06:23 PM) The Green Mile is on one of the Showtimes right now. What a quality movie. I remember seeing that in the theatre and the theatre was really dusty, especially at the end cuz my eyes kept watering.

QUOTE (fathom @ May 10, 2008 -> 02:32 PM) Time for Upton to help the Dbacks this weekend. I mean the catcher. Soriano would of been out easily.

QUOTE (fathom @ May 10, 2008 -> 02:29 PM) Cubs get a gift run as Upton refuses to throw the ball in and then they botch the play at the plate. That's 4 errors on Upton this season already. How did he drop the ball? Sheesh.

QUOTE (jackie hayes @ May 10, 2008 -> 11:31 AM) Nothing official, but rotoworld reporting that D'Antoni is going to the Knicks: Edit: NY Post is now confirming that D'Antoni will coach the Knicks. As much as I believe D'Antoni is a good coach, he is not worth $6 mil a year. Doesn't have the track record to garner that much of a commitment. Not surprised the Knicks gave that much money.

LOST!!!!
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ May 10, 2008 -> 11:31 AM) Brian, I edited your post. That is the type of thing we probably want to have spoiler tags around. Something that is supposed to happen in the future, and giving an exact date for it. Some people want to be surprised. No big deal, just for future reference. My bad. I thought we were under an "Enter thread at your own risk" type thing now. I'm confused.

LOST!!!!
So we have an episode on the 15th, than the 2 hour season finale on the 29th. We don't know how far in the future the "funeral" was, so it could be anybody. Any guesses/reasoning?

I LOVE when a pitcher walks a guy, than the next batter hacks away at the first pitch and pops out.

I say Nick Hogan is caught driving without a license within 6 months of his release. The kid has been raised horribly if you go by the TV show. Hulk keeps his daughter locked up and all strict but he was letting Nick drive hot rods when he was 15. Let's him do whatever he wants. My new avatar rules.

2008 AL Central Catch-All Thread
According to general manager Bill Smith, Pat Neshek is expected to miss at least three months and may be sidelined for the remainder of the season with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Smith said that Neshek won't be allowed to throw for at least three months and added that getting him healthy in time for spring training is the Twins' current goal. Losing Neshek is a huge blow to the Twins' bullpen, as he's gone 11-5 with a 2.91 ERA and 142/37 K/BB ratio in 120 2/3 career innings. Matt Guerrier and Juan Rincon will split setup duties in front of Joe Nathan.
