QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Mar 31, 2016 -> 03:22 PM) There is a lot of things WWE does to annoy the living s*** out of me. However, many of these things are generally 'smart for business' or at least, they make money with their philosophy. However, one thing that I can't understand for the life of me is why the King of the Ring PPV was taking away. You get 8 or 16 mid-card wrestlers, have a great tournament, and boom a winner is born with great honor. There are some flops, but this is a perfect opportunity to create a star! Obviously, it was back in 2015, but no longer a PPV or marque event, kinda useless IMO. Meanwhile, we have something like 13-15 ppv's with gimmicky names like Elimination Chamber or Money in the bank or TLC or Hell in a cell. (rofl). Why the hell did they change the PPV names to be gimmicks? Such corny bs. At least, I can understand this -- they make money off the PPVs so more ppvs is a good thing for business. Whatever. But why not have the KOTR, it was once known as a big 5. That's like the equivalent of taking away survivor series for no reason. I loved the KOTR when the did the whole 8 man bracket on one PPV. Even the semis/final ones felt important. They would just waste whoever won them anyway these days.

I'd dig it.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 31, 2016 -> 11:02 AM) We need a new thread tomorrow or starting whenever. That should be the op. Last year we decided to do a new thread on WrestleMania every year. Thought this NXT show would be the last of this thread.

Friday Night at 9pm EST on WWE Network Justin and I are more excited for this show than WrestleMania. The build up to the matches have been great. Austin Aries debuts vs Baron Corbin I'm not too familiar with Aries. Small guy debuting vs a big guy is intriguing. Corbin has improved so much over the past year. Finding his personality as a jerk big guy heel. If he is called up soon, hope they let him stay that way. The Revival vs American Alpha for the NXT Tag Team Championship American Alpha is a great team. Maybe the best to ever come out of NXT. I don't see what HHH sees in The Revival. They're generic and get no reaction. Pushing them as old school isn't working. Bayley vs Asuka for the NXT Women's Championship This will be the best match on the card. No doubt. The crowd will be hot for it and I really have no clue who wins. Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (debut) I'm not too familiar with Nakamura but everyone is stoked for his debut. The 2nd NXT in ring debut of the show. Probably Sami's final NXT match. Finn Balor © vs. Samoa Joe for the NXT Championship I was hoping they'd go with Zayn vs Finn but with Sami being called up, a rematch makes sense. Their London match was solid so this should be no different.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 31, 2016 -> 10:23 AM) Luckily the Apple router allows for "bridge mode." Did you call comcast's support yet? He was actually the guy who helped me Not yet. Maybe later. It's just annoying once in awhile. Not pushed over the edge yet.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 31, 2016 -> 10:18 AM) Hmm ok. Comcast is really weird about their IP address so let me think about that. My router was always going back and trying to get a new IP every few min and it was killing me, I had to go back to the comcast modem and use my router as just a bridge while the Comcast modem worked with the IP That is way to complicated for me. Thought I could just go into settings and do something.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 31, 2016 -> 09:12 AM) Originally, yes. But after sitting out, he can't leave a year on the table. I don't get the point of blocking Spike and I'm a Michigan fan. Let him go wherever. Who knows if he can even stay healthy. Coaches have reasons that aren't made public. Happens all the time.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 31, 2016 -> 08:11 AM) Im sure that was the story he told. If he was so crappy and unhealthy why would Beilein not let him transfer to schools within conference? Cuz he saw how much Biefledt helped Indiana? I would've rather they let Spike stay here but they're high on Simpson coming in.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 31, 2016 -> 08:11 AM) Rumor from where? Its nowhere on any Ohio State board or insider info. The guy that tweeted it back tracked.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 31, 2016 -> 08:12 AM) Do you have a wireless router attached to it? Or are you wiring right in? It is a modem/router in one

I got a Motorola modem to replace the one I was renting from xfinity. It works for the most part but feels like the signal is up and down. Frequently.

Punk? Nah. Who am I kidding.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 30, 2016 -> 04:59 PM) Oh wow. I hope it's there for the WM winner because they deserve it. I assume they're changing the name too? Report says it will look like heavyweight belt but smaller and with a white strap. And yes, no more Divas title. Should have Trish on Raw or something to present it.

Every year when Spring Training starts, I say, "Ugh, the season is still 6 weeks away." Then when the last Cactus League game is being played every year, I say, "Man, Spring Training went by fast."

I was only 15 when the OJ trial went down. Never really realized how much of an impact the Furman tapes had. Shouldn't have been allowed IMO. If the jury understood what DNA was, it was open shut case.

They've been hyping Rock's return to WrestleMania for months, despite him being at the last 5 anyway, and still have no clue what he is doing.

Rumor that Matta is stepping down due to health reasons? Rock?

Wish the Saul stuff was a tad more interesting but the Mike stuff is great.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Mar 30, 2016 -> 08:21 AM) I want to like Vinyl. I really do. But I can only take so much of Bobby Cannavale just doing a bunch of coke and screaming. I get it, he has problems. Let's see some of the interesting stuff. More Jamie, more Nasty Bits. I quit after episode 2. Just wasn't feeling it. All style no substance.

I maybe alone, but with as depleted the roster is now and those guys on the verge of coming back, plus with recent signings, I feel WWE could be on the verge of another boom period. But it's all on creative so I'm not holding my breath. Got to let guys get over and stop holding guys down.

Cesaro is scheduled for the post Mania house shows. Maybe a surprise return in Battle royal to win again? I dunno.

Trump so gonna sub tweet Anderson Cooper later.

QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Mar 29, 2016 -> 04:51 PM) Where did you see it? Lincolnshire

"Eye in the Sky" will be one of the best films I'll see this year.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 29, 2016 -> 08:21 AM) Meltzer said wwe indeed expected her to get a huge pop. Then they're dumber then we ever gave them credit for. At least the other 4 divas in the ring played it right. Like they didn't want her here. Eva Marie is awful at wrestling, but she's really hot and as far as personality as come a long way.
