  1. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 28, 2014 -> 08:52 AM) Ideally it would be similar to MLB. Either come out right after high school, or you have to play in college for 3 years. Either way, college basketball will be fine. Even if the product gets watered down, you can't beat the excitement and drama of a 64 team single elimination tournament. This. I'm over the one and done arguement. Let them go pro out of high school. Prep kids are so good, they'd be better than most of the end of the bench guys. Only thing they would have to watch out for is character and handling the transition.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Dec 28, 2014 -> 01:36 AM) Try watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer in HD Widescreen. SMG in HD? I'm in!
  3. My dad and sister got hit by a cab a long time ago when the driver cut them off on 94. No damage or injuries but knocked them off the road and through 3 lanes. Luckily the roads were empty. The jagbag cab driver got out, looked at his car, saw my dad, got in his cab and pulled off. They couldn't see his license plate. Still pisses me off to think about it. No clue how people can hit someone and just take off. Get in less trouble or none if they stick around.
  4. QUOTE (gatnom @ Dec 28, 2014 -> 01:22 AM) True. Ulis wasn't quite in their backyard, though. I really thought he made a mistake by going to UK over MSU or Iowa, but he definitely belongs. At the risk of dislocating my shoulder, I'll pay myself on the back for being on his bandwagon since he was a soph. I knew what he could do. Did I think he's be this good right away at UK? No way, but he is smart and can make adjustments. I have no doubt he could be the next Chris Paul.
  5. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 28, 2014 -> 07:22 AM) Looks like that alcoholic Moeller too? At least We'll know how to distract him before the game. Blind them with the light off the Buckeye halos?

Want to see Selma, Inherent Vice, American Sniper, Big Eyes, and a Most Violent Year before i make my top 10 list. Doubt anything replaces my current #1.
  7. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 27, 2014 -> 09:51 PM) Looks like it. They sure went for it. I'm curious how the recruiting class changes now. I don't follow college recruiting outside of Chicago so wouldn't even know the kids they do get outside a few. Sounds like the Florida DC is coming with and possibly Wheatley, who I didn't even know was coaching.
  8. QUOTE (gatnom @ Dec 27, 2014 -> 05:37 PM) Really, really big miss by Groce on that one. And about 50 other major schools.
  9. Mother Nature is being nice so far this winter.
  10. Re: Thunder It sucks that Perkins is making so much because with him out there it is 5 on 4. Saw McGary is dominating D League, which I guess should be taken with a grain of salt.
  11. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Dec 26, 2014 -> 11:30 PM) So Westbrook is averaging close to a point per minute right now. At this point, his strengths significantly outweighs his weaknesses. Good luck defending that when Durant's healthy again. Teams haven't had a problem in the past beating them together in the playoffs. I'm starting to doubt KD will be healthy this season.
  12. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 27, 2014 -> 06:47 AM) The Bears better be walking in right behind. Sources in Bay Area now saying he's signing with Michigan. Probably already agreed upon. I'll believe it when he's announced on Tuesday.
  13. Cowley was wrong? What??
  14. Kirk needs to stay hurt so Brooks can keep playing.
  15. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 25, 2014 -> 07:15 PM) Are the Bulls in trouble now that Kobe isn't playing? We're not some hack team, like Golden State.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 24, 2014 -> 09:48 AM) Is hanukkah over? Who knew. I'm a good jew. I think. Today could be the 8th day I guess.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Dec 24, 2014 -> 12:45 PM) Porn exists, guys. No need to watch a bad show for the occasional boob like it's 1995 and you're 14. But they do icky gross stuff in those.
  18. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Dec 24, 2014 -> 12:21 PM) Varejao out for season. Torn Achilles. Sun rises.
  19. Brian replied to Kyyle23's topic in SLaM
Sure, bust out the Happy Holidays thread after Hanukkah ends. Racist. (I'm not Jewish)

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 23, 2014 -> 09:41 PM) Until season 3 starts and you drop it. Episodes are short, so even if it's bad, I think I can get through it. Or is everything after 3 bad as well?

Am I wrong or did the guys approach the cop car before the cop got out? I can't see it very well
