John Fox just wouldn't excite me. I know he has a track record but was kind of hoping that with hiring a young GM, maybe we'd find the next great young coach. Probably wishful thinking.

I watch the Oscars beginning to end every year. I know, mock me. I put validity in those winners despite hating the idea that movies are made to win awards. The TV awards at the Globes? C'mon. No way The Affair was best drama. Or the girl from Jane the Virgin is best actress. I guess I have to see that Julianne Moore movie. No real lead woman stands out this year like Blanchett did last year.

Feels empty to me. Pisses me off it took so long and he won't be there. Would've LOVED to hear his speech. He was my favorite as a kid. Should've waited a week. Everyone will be watching college football tonight. Not like many people watch Raw anyway.

If the ground can't cause a fumble, I just feel that if Dez caught the ball, cuffed it, and took a few steps before the ground knocked it out, it should've been ruled a catch. He had control of the ball. It wasn't wobbly as he headed to the ground. Rule needs to be fine tuned. Which playoff game was it where a back caught a pass, fell untouched, started rolling to advance the ball, got hit, ball out, recovered by other team, and refs gave it back to the offense. I understand being down, but if you go down, untouched, and still try and advance the ball then get hit and ball pops out, that should be a fumble in my eyes. Rant over.

It was like 18 out this morning when I left the house and it felt like spring to me.

I don't take the Globes results seriously. They reward the new shows and some of their movie nominees are just out there. Think critics put too much stock in them. Amy Poehler just continues to age wonderfully.
