Tough first half for Cyclones

Just watched the highlight. He was just throwing everything in. Crazy. 35 of them in the last 8:22 of the quarter. I've been unconscious shooting sometimes but Id end up with like 15 and thought it was great.

Cuban outfielder Guillermo Heredia has left his native country to pursue an MLB contract, per Ben Badler of Baseball America. Heredia, 23, was the center fielder on Cuba's World Baseball Classic in 2013 and is known for his defense. He will be exempt from international bonus pools, which is good news for his bank account. Heredia is a plus defender that will likely play center field in the majors, but his bat is a question mark according to Badler. It's uncertain when he'll be cleared to sign with an MLB club. We don't really have room for him, when I think about it.

Thought the movie was rather great. I blocked out the political stuff as I watched it. Michael Moore obviously hasn't seen it. I sort of get Rogen's comparison but not to the effect that there should be big outrage over it.

Michigan will lose plenty of conference games. None of their 5 mins is that impressive.

Oh God. If Gran Torino turns out to be better than American Sniper, I'm in for one awful movie. Torino was brutal to me. I don't know if this will turn into the Filibuster Movie Thread, but can't wait to see CitizenFour. Will debut on HBO after Oscars. My buddy said it's one of the most intense movies he's seen in recent memory. And to call ANYONE who goes to the Middle East to fight a war a coward, is garbage to me. Even the medics. They are all leaving their families and risking their lives.

I have yet to see it, probably will tomorrow, but there has been some conversation of what the movie portrays. Not just Kyle but gun society, the country's mindset about war, etc... Michael Moore, who I agree with on some stuff, really stuck his foot in his mouth, saying "Snipers are cowards." Not even his explanation makes sense. I mean it is Clint Eastwood who is very pro NRA and conservative.
