QUOTE (TRU @ Dec 14, 2014 -> 10:42 PM) I enjoy these NXT shows but ugh, their names are terrible.. who is coming up with this crap? The names, I've kinda gotten used to them. From what I hear, the wrestlers are given control of what they want to be called as long as WWE can own it.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 14, 2014 -> 10:28 PM) Loved the main event. Guess others didn't I was enjoying it despite the awful crowd and than that ending happened. Pointless. Kyyle, what did you think of the Rusev/Swagger finish?

2014-2015 NBA thread
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 15, 2014 -> 05:58 AM) He would've passed him last year had he not missed 76 games. And let's not act like Kobe wasn't drafted at 17 and had to wait his turn. Anyway, this isn't MJ vs Kobe. This is about a guy who came into the league in 1996. Think about what you were doing and what was going on in the world in 1996. I hadn't even wacked off for the first time yet. That came two years later. BH 90210 was in season 6. Did playstation even exist? Now we're on playstation 8. And here we are now going on 2015 and Kobe comes back from not 1, but 2, major knee surgeries in his f***ing 30's to make it back to the court to accomplishment this feat. That's GOAT longevity and dedication to your craft. #bean #mamba I think I had Playstation in 97 and was late to the party so assume they were around in 96.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 14, 2014 -> 08:51 PM) Kobe officially passes MJ for third on the all-time scoring list. Amazing accomplishment by an amazing player. I've always said that Kobe is the closest to Jordan we may ever see.

Its cute that people on Twitter think the Sox and Cubs' off-seasons are comparable.

QUOTE (WKamm @ Dec 14, 2014 -> 07:21 AM) Went to 2 games last year. No, I don't like Harper. Having both Melky and FLowers is too much. You're probably not in touch with any of your exes, I'm guessing.

QUOTE (thigpen89 @ Dec 14, 2014 -> 07:24 AM) Hey everyone, I'm new here (my first post) but I've been reading the forum for a few weeks now since I made the jump from the White Sox official message board. I just moved to Houston so I'll be catching all three games at the end of May. I can't wait to take my new son to his first Sox games! Love a lot of the moves we made! Welcome! And stay away from greg.

Sox sign Melky Cabrera
QUOTE (flavum @ Dec 14, 2014 -> 07:28 AM) Eaton Cabrera Abreu LaRoche Garcia Gillaspie Ramirez Flowers Johnson I think we're almost at rosterbating level. Ugh, forgot Flowers is still there. We've upgraded so much though, it's hard to be mad we didn't upgrade C. And can we call him Melkman? Or is that too disrespectful to the legend of Herbert Perry?

I'm obviously not an Illini guy but Groce gets the kids he has t o play hard and is so close to landing a big fish. Outside of Rice, if Hill has an off day like yesterday, there is just nobody else who can score. I'm not sure if it's just game rust for Starks but I thought he'd be better. Leron Black, where? You'll all be excited again in a couple of weeks when you beat Michigan.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 12, 2014 -> 10:03 AM) That whole show was amazing. It's to the point where I kind of want guys like Balor, Zayn and Owens to stay in NXT so we get stuff like this and not have creative completely f*** them up when they get to raw/Smackdown. Great stuff last night. This, this this. They'll be jobbing on the main roster. God forbid , Vince dies, and than things will get more wrestling oriented. I want to believe Vince ties HHH's hands since nxt is hunters baby.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 13, 2014 -> 05:02 AM) These are the type of posts that really make me want to see Jay Cutler succeed. It's amazing how fans think they know what's going on in Jay's head. Anyone who says he doesn't care should just go away. If he shows emotion, he's a poor teammate. If he's stoic, he doesn't care. Gmab

2014-2015 NFL Football thread
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Dec 12, 2014 -> 12:29 AM) Bears OC Aaron Kromer admitted to the team on Monday that he was an anonymous source in a recent NFL Network report criticizing Jay Cutler. That would be Ian Rapoport's "serious buyer's remorse" report, though a "tearful" Kromer "adamantly denied" making the buyer's remorse comments. Whatever Kromer did or didn't exactly say, it's a stunning admission, and indicative of Raiders/Redskins-level dysfunction in Chicago. It's appearing less and less likely that coach Marc Trestman is going to keep his job. Not only has his defense collapsed, but his once-prolific offense has bordered on unwatchable many times over the past 5-6 weeks. Kromer's unprofessional act is going to earn him sideways glances the next time he's looking for a job. Source: Chicago Tribune Fire all the SOB's Definitely, you can't have this circus of a staff around next year for sure. I'd probably be ok with Trestman as OC but a head coach that would tell him he's getting too pass heavy and this isn't the CFL.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Dec 12, 2014 -> 12:55 AM) I wonder how this will end I'm not looking things up online because I want to listen and see what happens, but hope people don't have expectations that it will end with someone else being found as the killer and Adnan being released. I'm expecting a ho hum finish and would be fine with that since it has been so well done and interesting.
