This guys wife cries at the end of EVERY movie. This is after they watched my favorite movie, "Back to the Future".

I'm on the bandwagon that something is up with Sayid. His voice was obviously different when he "woke up". Love the Lostpedia forums. Differences on Alt flights. 1. Hurley thinks he is lucky 2. Theory that Sun and Jin are NOT married. Worker at LAX calls Sun Ms. Paik and no wedding rings. 3. Desmond, duh. 4. Sawyer? 5. Kate? More?
  4. Bah humbug. Thought he was gift wrapped to the Nationals.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Feb 2, 2010 -> 10:24 PM) I guess I just had heard that this season premiere was supposed to answer alot of questions and that the timeline for this season is told as one continuous story. I guess I'm just confused by alot of it, when I thought things would be a bit more clear. I'm just not as captivated by all these convoluted story lines as I was in the first 2-3 seasons...that said its still must see TV and i can't wait for next week. Just thought things would be more clear this week and was a bit disappointed by it I never got the impression that all the answers were suppose to be revealed in the season premiere.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Feb 2, 2010 -> 10:02 PM) why do i keep getting my hopes up that they will actually answer any f***ing question in this show.... im a bit frustrated right now...instead of explaning everything (or hell anything), they introduce new characters, new timelines, underwater islands, etc all in the final season and still don't explain anything....i hate how they advertise that "the time for questions is over"...yet all they do is keep bringing in new storylines without addressing any of the outstanding questions I guess you didn't watch the same show I did. They pretty much answered what the smoke was which is only one of the biggest mysteries of the show. The people at the temple are the Others that followed Jacob. The water is meant to heal but since Jacob is dead, I'm guessing it doesn't have the same healing powers. There are 16 hours of show left. Not everything will be answered in the season premiere.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Feb 2, 2010 -> 09:03 PM) it's going to be a pretty damn interesting day in downtown LA when that plane falls on Boone. Touche. Ha Or he is crushed another way.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 2, 2010 -> 08:37 PM) So it will be interesting to see how all of the people who already died, die again. My guess is the same thing that happened to them on the island will happen to them in the "What If" timeline.

WHat's with the commercials every 5 minutes? Geez

I like this so far. On island stuff interwoven with a "What If" timeline. I have a feeling how it will go. How the heck did Desmond get on the plane?????
  14. QUOTE (The Beast @ Feb 2, 2010 -> 07:47 PM) Okay, laying this one out there. In today's current environment, when is the appropriate age to get married? Should people get married or serious when they can support themselves? When should anyone have a "serious relationship" and when shouldn't they? It almost seems like in college it's too much to have one. It seems people are getting married at an older age than say 10 years ago. At least in my experiences. 28, 29, 30, seems to be the norm these days.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 2, 2010 -> 07:21 PM) What's the point of this remedial 1 hour episode? It's so ridiculously basic I'm not sure who it's intended for. They expecting people to start watching for the 1st time tonight? Probably trying to reel in the people who never watched for the last season. Maybe to take up the entire prime time slot from 7-10. They do it every year. I don't mind it.

I have had this counter in my sig since November. I get this close and notice it is an hour off. Bastards!
  17. In addition, I sort of look at the conference tourneys as part of the big picture. They are sort of like the undercard to me, only much more awesome. DO NOT CHANGE A THING!

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Feb 2, 2010 -> 04:44 PM) As much as I have loved Lost, I'm still preparing myself for being incredibly disappointed at the Series Finale. I think it is almost inevitable that the ending will be disappointing but I'm hoping to be surprised. Every show that has a hyped series finale, with the exception of MASH, have their fans either love it or hate it. I have no idea how it is going to end, I have no idea what would make he hate or love the ending. I'm just hoping I enjoy the ride.

QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Feb 2, 2010 -> 03:22 PM) Go back to the first page of this thread and retake the quiz. 8/10 QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 2, 2010 -> 03:23 PM) I thought about a new one for the new season, but I figured we would want to be able to easily refer back to the old one. I wouldn't be against a fresh new thread. We got the next 4 months to fill it up.
  20. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 2, 2010 -> 04:08 PM) Makes me sick to my stomach just hearing about expanding the tourny. It's the best thing in sports, LEAVE IT THE f*** ALONE FTW. You add more teams, it means a lot of blow outs in the first week.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 2, 2010 -> 11:41 AM) Just need to find time. Having a young kid makes that a bit difficult at times. So does having a wife who refuses to see violent films. I'll just have to buy it on Blu-Ray later. It's not really violent. There is one scene that I would consider bloody. Very suspenseful.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 2, 2010 -> 11:35 AM) I haven't seen Hurt Locker, but of the ones I've seen on that list, Up in the Air was the best. I really really liked "Up In The Air", but "The Hurt Locker" is a masterpiece IMO.
