QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 06:08 PM) I really hope the Jets lose tonight and the Texans get in. Fixed. Newb Welker torn ACL and torn MCL. Maybe he'll be back in Week 8 next year.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 06:49 PM) The PS3 was the best purchase I ever made. Keep waiting for the price to drop.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 12:15 PM) The Chicago Stadium was termed the Madhouse on Madison long before the United Center was built. It's pretty lame that they put that stuff up now, as the building has been a parking lot for about 15 years. I don't see the big deal. It's on Madison and with the Bulls and Hawks having success last season, the crowds were awesome. It's not nearly the same enviornment as Chicago Stadium, but the building serves the same purpose for both teams. -
Wes Welker got hurt. Looked kind of bad. Needed help off the field.

Shanahan could be named Skin coach tomorrow or later in teh week. Bucs staff has been told they will all be back next year. I've said it plenty of times, I only fire Lovie if we hire Cowher.

Today is the first Sunday I am not working in about 5 months. Watching NFL Sunday on FOX. Can Frank Caliendo go away? Impressions are ok if you do new ones every once in awhile. His Madden was good at first but is old now like his other stuff.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 10:18 AM) My buddy was telling me he heard a Hogan quote where Hulk was saying that he wants to do away with the 6 sided ring ASAP. I havent found it yet, but if so I would agree with that decision, although it does remove a bit of brand identity from TNA. That 6 sided ring just doesnt work when I watch it though, the wrestlers look like their moves are inhibited by the ring, they are used to more space between posts Would love it if they did this. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 11:13 AM) As for tomorrow night. Yep, I'll be watching my first TNA show, that is until 8 when my favorite wrestler makes his return & hopefully it won't suck. I just hope TNA realizes that they can bring in all the star power they want, they still have to put out a quality product. Even though growing up on the original ECW, RVD & Heyman excite me. Same with Kennedy. I will watch the first hour of TNA than go to Raw. I will DVR both. I won't miss a moment of either show. And Hizzle, you have never seen Velvet Sky outside of my avatars?

You had to wait about a year for a movie to come to video after it's theatre run? You had to look in an actual newspaper for movie theatre times? Carry on...

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 02:17 AM) The opening scene, IMO, was a total homage to Sergio Leone and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. VERY similar, even down to the Ennio Moriccone-esque musical selection. That was really awesome to see. Totally captured me from the opening moment. Tarantino credits spaghetti westerns as his major influence in most movies. Kill Bill 2 is a prime example.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 09:28 AM) Heyman would be interesting, but the powers that be never seem to let Heyman do his thing. When he is creative control, he is at his best, but I really cannot see Bischoff or Hogan allowing that This. I bet he is just an on air charater more than anything. Heyman should run the show.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 08:33 AM) One day until the new Monday Night War, Bret Harts return, and the AARPWO returns in TNA Sounds like RVD and Mr. Kennedy will show up as well. I'm more excited for Angelina Love re-signing.

Most will file this under the "Who Gives a F*ck" folder, but why does SNL showcase Keenan Thompson so much? He doesn't do anything funny and isn't entertaining. Bill Hader is awesome and is always in the background.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 10:20 PM) How the hell did the Bulls win? I didn't watch anything because the Hawks were on. Rose

QUOTE (The Baconator @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 11:46 AM) I've been looking online to either buy that or for a torrent. What I'm looking for is a box set with complete coverage of all 12 2005 playoff games for us, not just the 4 WS games. Does anyone know if this exists and where I can find it? The only box set that was sold that I onow of had all 4 World Series Games along with the clinching games in Boston and LA. Think there was also a bonus disc in it as well. It's in my closet.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 02:06 PM) Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the Madhouse on Madison the old Chicago Stadium? I'll never understand why teams that are up 3 with under 10 seconds left ever play anyone inside the 3 point line. Let them take the 2s at that point. They have been calling the United Center that since the Bulls won their first title while playing there. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 01:25 PM) In the last 15 minutes of game time, Gonzaga has made more dumb passes than any team I've seen all season. Illinois should be able to win this game comfortably with the momentum they have. Still 15 minutes left. Hope they didn't blow their wad. Jordan has actually been worth a damn this game. -
Last night, the Lakers/Kings game wasn't blacked out on UVerse for whatever reason so watched the last quarter. If there was EVER and NBA game this season to look at and say, "Yeah, the refs are rigging games.", That would of been it. Even Shannon Brown was getting calls that weren't there. And you had to love Kobe's major push off to get open and hit the buzzer beater.
