QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 12, 2009 -> 01:55 PM) Tonight at 9pm eastern. http://www.history.com/shows.do?action=det...pisodeId=488296 Thanks. Part 1 was incredible with all the Dallas News stuff leading up to it. Realistically suspenseful.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 11, 2009 -> 09:33 PM) The footage is just incredible. Listening to the reports and the reactions as it happened, with no narration or modern thought really makes it feel different. Any clue when Part 2 runs or was that both parts last night? Nevermind, looked it up. It's this Sat.

Nobody laughed when Larry told Sammy to "Shut the f*ck up" while singing in the show. Not too mention that Sammy has grown into a little cutie...just saying.

Loved Family Guy last night. All the 80s comeedy references were fantastic.

On "Curb" tonight, there was a moment I live every once in awhile at work. Stranger walks by Larry and says "smile" and he tells her to mind her own business. That happens to me all the time at work when I am minding my own business and I usually just throw a fake chuckle out there so they leave me alone.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 11, 2009 -> 08:45 PM) For anyone who isn't watching football or baseball, the History Channel is running a show called JFK, Three Shots that Changed America. They are using all kinds of original footage and audio, which is really impressive. I have never seen most of this stuff before. Hmmm, hope they replay it. Would set the DVR Yup, re-running at midnight. Thanks

The NFL just doesn't protect the QBs enough.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 11, 2009 -> 06:14 PM) How do teams never learn that they can't leave time on the clock for Brady or Manning? I was wrong. Ha No flag on the guy going after Orton's legs on that last sack. Balt got flagged for less on Brady. Maybe it's the BRADY Rule and can only be called for him? Ha

Capitalism: A Love Story
Ya gotta love the voices dubbed over the part with the clips of Jesus from whatever movie it was. Guy: Heal me! Jesus: I can't. You have pre-existing conditions.

It's obvious Denver is going to tie the game and leave WAY too much time on the clock.

Nice drive by Orton and the Broncos here. The Denver O-line isn't bad.

2009 Fantasy Football VENT Thread
QUOTE (dasox24 @ Oct 11, 2009 -> 03:59 PM) This is f***ing bulls***. The guy I'm playing is getting lucky as s***. My team isn't playing great, but I shouldn't lose this week. Right now it looks like I'm going to, though. Thanks to Clinton Portis and Jamal Lewis deciding to have the best games of their s***ty seasons. Maybe more thanks should go out to Buffalo's defense for letting Lewis get 117 yards even though Anderson was 2/17. If you know they can't pass, how do you still allow that many rushing yards to one guy? Thanks for reminding me...I HAD JAMAL LEWIS ON MY BENCH!!! P.S. I will be in this thread often. I won my pay league last year but am taking my lumps this year.

2009 Fantasy Football VENT Thread
Brandon Jacobs, in the first quarter, gets NY down to the 1, they put in Bradshaw to score. G*D Damnit! In my pay leage, we get 6 extra points when a rusher hits 100 yards or a WR gets 100 yards. The past 2 weeks, Ocho Cinco has ended up with around 95 yards. Fantasy Football this year just puts me in a bad mood.

Derek Anderson is probably gonna finish 2 of 17 passing for 23 yards, yet Cleveland will probably win on a FG here at the end. This maybe the worst game ever.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 10, 2009 -> 10:55 PM) Iowa was helped by the elements in each of their last two wins over Penn State. That doesn't make the wins any less relevant since both teams were playing in it and because Iowa has owned Penn State for years now, but in both cases, crappy weather really turned the game to Iowa's style as they are built to win in the crappy conditions. The question I have is why the hell was Denard Robinson in the game on that last drive? Exactly. He is a QB you can put in if you need a long drawn out drive, but not when you need to go 80 yards in 90 secs. I knew how it would end. Forcier had a bad game, but he is also the QB that has continously led your team down field to win or tie games. They didn't even need to get in the end zone, just FG range.
