QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 11, 2009 -> 12:01 AM) Melanie Collins is the queen bee of that group. In fact, she's the hottest woman working in sports I have ever seen. I can not disagree with this. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 10, 2009 -> 10:55 PM) Iowa was helped by the elements in each of their last two wins over Penn State. That doesn't make the wins any less relevant since both teams were playing in it and because Iowa has owned Penn State for years now, but in both cases, crappy weather really turned the game to Iowa's style as they are built to win in the crappy conditions. The question I have is why the hell was Denard Robinson in the game on that last drive? Exactly. He is a QB you can put in if you need a long drawn out drive, but not when you need to go 80 yards in 90 secs. I knew how it would end. Forcier had a bad game, but he is also the QB that has continously led your team down field to win or tie games. They didn't even need to get in the end zone, just FG range. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 10, 2009 -> 10:28 PM) Denard Robinson can't lead this team downfield in a 1:30. Gotta put Tate back out there. Damnit! We had two guys open and Robinson throws it to a black jersey. Totally winnable game and Michigan beat themselves. No offense Gage, but Iowa is not that good. This was the only time I have seen them so maybe they are better than how they played today. -

Killing ourselves. Plain and simple. Muffing of the punt so it didn't matter, but that is an awful roughing the kicker penalty. -
I had to drop out because I won't be around for draft. Sorry.

NOW I will be pulling for Thome

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 10, 2009 -> 08:35 PM) It was 17 degrees and snowing in Denver. Brilliant idea to play it at 8pm Colorado time tomorrow.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 10, 2009 -> 07:36 PM) The Cardinals owe the guy in the audience who wears #56 an apology for today's performance. He doesn't want to play for them anymore.

I'm not happy

QUOTE (Nunnigan @ Oct 10, 2009 -> 11:05 AM) I saw Paranormal Activity last night, and it was a decent scary movie (better than Blair Witch in terms of the mock documentary style). There's not much of a plot, but the boyfriend Micha and girlfriend Kate have good chemistry which will lead to a few chuckle moments. You'll know when a scary moment will happen cause most of it happens at night, its just the suspense leading up to the moment will make it that more creepy. Without giving anything away, the ending has a definite WTF!?! moment, as that is what came shouting out of my mouth when it took place. I would give the movie about a 7.5 or 8 out of 10. Word to the wise though, get to the theater early if you want tickets to your showing. My brothers and I were planning to watch the 9:30 showing, but when we got to the theater we found out that not only the 9:30 showing was sold out but the 10:10 showing was sold out as well. So we ended up catching the movie at 10:45 which was also sold out. When we left the movie, it looked like the 12:30 showing could have possibly been sold out. Thanks for the info. I remember when friends and I went to see Blair Witch down in the city, cuz it wasn't released yet. We wanted to se elike the 2pm show on a Sunday and all the shows were sold out til 8pm. So we hung out downtown until then. It sounds like what I would expect.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 09:36 PM) TBS is scoring some pretty good ratings for the first couple games. up 15% over last year. Function of NYY, Boston, and both LA teams in there? It is obviously the intelligent analyzations of Chip Carey.

Certain Cub fans are publicly embarassing themselves, David Kaplan , because they seem to think missing the playoffs totally is better than making the playoffs and getting swept. http://www.chicagonow.com/blogs/david-kapl...dinal-fans.html Go Cards. I think if St. Louis wins today, they win the series. Carpenter never has two bad starts in a row, not that Game 1 was really BAD, but just unlike him.

Over slept this morning so had to skip the gym. Watching Big ten Network pregame shows for the first time. Wow, they are compiling a nice roster of sideline hotties. Didn't catch the name of the brunette at the Illinois game, but dayum! Her name is Rebecca Haarlow. -
QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 11:11 PM) He definitely has the Edmonds dive down, but I disagree with your assesment of the 2 run triple, because I don't think there is anyway he could have caught that. Hopefully, the Angels hold on. The Red Sox and Twins both being one loss away from out would be nice. Probably wouldn't of caught it but he went sideways instead of going back on it.

Liner misplayed by Ellsbury plates 2 more for Anaheim. Is it just me or does Jacoby make a lot of "Edmonds" like diving plays. He had one yesterday.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 03:43 PM) i love that show....pure entertainment in Bill Simmons newest column he debates why october is the best sports month and adds the Ruins to the list of sports, hilarious http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...=simmons/091009 Simmons always says on his podcasts that the RR/RW Challenges should replace hockey as a sport.

There are like 10 different ones of this kid posted by his brother. They say he has no mental condition, but watching the other ones, something ain't right with that boy.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 9, 2009 -> 09:21 AM) Oh man. I am seriously falling in love with Modern Family. Julie Bowen=MILF of the Year

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 8, 2009 -> 10:31 PM) I didn't know about the first two games, but I would have bet the Dodgers in this series. The Cards have been on cruise control for months. Cardinals hadn't been hitting the past few weeks and is now carrying over in the playoffs and it's killing them.
-
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 8, 2009 -> 04:07 PM) His name has been thrown around for like 3 years, so when you consider that it is pretty amazing that he's just 23. Doesn't mean he's accomplished anything big, although I think he's got a shot to be very good and is already a plus reliever. Stop defending Chip Carey! Ban yourself!

RR/RW: Ruins has been phenominal...in the trashy sort of way.

QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Oct 7, 2009 -> 09:42 PM) I really want to see "Paranormal Activity" Ditto

These are the oddest technical difficulties I have ever seen.

QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Oct 7, 2009 -> 09:57 PM) i'd do it. Me to...oh, I thought were were talking about Katherine Heigl. I guess I would play.
