This Zack Morris interview better be on youtube or hulu when I get home. He looks the same as he did in 92.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 11:54 PM) I recently finished the mini-series Band of Brothers and it was phenomenal. I know it's not a movie and this is a movie thread, but I figure a mini-series is close enough, so I thought I'd mention it. Definitely a very cool look at the march to Berlin from the paratrooper perspective, whereas most accounts I've seen/read are from guys that landed on the beaches on D-Day and went from there. Bastogne was hell. And it's definitely sad when you see how many of the original guys that trained at Camp Toccoa ended up dying or wounded pretty badly, but the series as a whole was great. Can't believe I waited so long to finally watch it. Watched it when it first ran on HBO. Tremendous. Was hard having to wait a week for the next part.

The station is re-tread of old personalities, and a couple young guys who are given a shot and only time will tell with them. I liked listening to Doug and OB after Bears games, but I'm not gonna bring up the stream online when I can just turn on a radio. So for that aspect, I hope there is a simulcast. Other shows, I don't really care to listen to. Who is Boom Boom? Never heard of him.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 10:23 PM) McMahon in law buries Legacy on his first night back. f***in' figures.... You would think they would wanna freshen things up a bit... Yup. At least it looks as if they are finally going to do something with DiBiasi and Rhodes, instead of just being lackies. So is Orton the champ again? It wasn't made clear. Thought for sure they were gonna do the old WCW angle between Sting and Rude where Sting is taken to hospital after a Rude attack, comes back cuz he would forfeit US title, Rude pins him.

Us bringing up starters and putting them in the pen is getting kind of old. I'd rather keep him stretched out in the minors since he probably won't get a start anytime soon. If Colon goes, Count will start again. I don't really think Richard deserves to go back to the pen either.

QUOTE (G&T @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 06:10 PM) Carrying over from another thread, Fields thinks having Beckham around is awkward: Cowley I understand how he feels. It sucks for him as a person. Boo Hoo. Field a routine grounder consistently.

When Josh can continously field groundballs cleanly, than he can talk.

You're welcome. I came home, turned the TV on, and the next pitch, JD homered. It's all cuz of me.

I voted "Right Now", but only because someone has to take the fall and it is never the players. No offense to Greg, just not working right now.

QUOTE (T R U @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 02:20 AM) Wait, goes heel? Where did you get that from. Because he beat Hardy? I didn't see anything that made him look heel. It was just the way it came off to me. Fans mostly boo'd him. He played it off arrogantly. I could be wrong, but would like to see him heel. Heard his heel promos in ROH were good. Does Batista have his own office at Dr. James Andrews building? Seriously. Stop putting the belt on this guy. He can't be trusted with it.
-
CM Punk cashes in, wins the World Heavyweight Title from Jeff Hardy, goes heel. Oddest thing about Batista winning is that I read he tore his bicep again and has to have surgery...again.
-
Extreme Rules was going well...until they put the tite back on Batista. Makes no sense.

QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 03:09 PM) True, but the approach we use is horrid. We do not do the little things, and have no idea how to go the opposite way. Thome was on the pre game yesterday saying that Walker had the team in batting practive focusing on line drives up the middle and the opposite way. We maybe working on it in practice, but when the game starts, it's a different story. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 02:50 PM) He does a great job of changing speeds and angles. He's a virtual waste right now in his role, as he only pitches in blow outs. Also is around the plate and throws strikes. Great concept. -

From last Sunday through 5 1/3 of todays game vs. Cleveland, our staff has given up 11 homers. That is obscene. It seemed like we rarely gave up homers at all last year.
