QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 20, 2009 -> 05:55 PM) http://www.racarie.com/cftransitive/index.php?team=60 Discuss Even better that Michigan beat Minnesota! Woohoo! -
QUOTE (Greenman @ Jan 20, 2009 -> 01:48 PM) No, I actually cant stand his new music.. His other music was perfect, this new music doesnt seem like entrance music to me I don't mind his new music. They could re-edit it to make it sound better when it kicks in.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Jan 20, 2009 -> 12:40 PM) Well, then, out with Manu and in with Jake The Snake's daughter. DONE AND DONE! Manu was horrible and didn't fit in. Had no problem with them giving him the boot. Need pics of Jake's daughter.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 09:26 PM) Walkabout is the best hour of television ever made. The final Locke revelation, the acting, the score, the staging will never be topped in my mind. There are so many great episodes. Walkabout stands out to me as the best in the 1st season. Locke was hardly on screen in the premiere and that made that episode even greater. When you think back, most of the better episodes surround Locke. Lost is 4 for 4 on season finales. They have all been great.

That last segment was fantastic last night. Even the Orton haters have to admit that he has gotten better on the mic.
-
QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 08:09 PM) orton touched the ground, he was just as out as Kane. And another thing, Kofi didnt go over the top rope, he went through the ropes. bogus opening match, blown spots all over the place Only one foot hit the ground.

QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 05:49 PM) This is going to be the most difficult March Madness to pick in some time. I know many teams that can win it, but Ill State has to be the favorite. This was awesome. You had me pulled in and than delivered an excellent punchline. -
QUOTE (daa84 @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 02:21 PM) nice f***ing game gordon....god that guy is unbelievably frustrating... When I saw the switch with Lee on him, I was hoping he would pull a Ginobli. Pump fake, get guy in air, get contact. Nah, he pulled a Gordon and shot an air ball in the clutch.
-
QUOTE (daa84 @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 01:29 PM) Luol is playing really well today....he's looked pretty good since coming back from injury...hopefully now that he's healthy he'll get it going consistently like he did 2 years ago This is also the type of game I expect from Noah. 16 boards, 6 pts so far.

I workout Mon-Fri. Mon, Wed, Fri, I do a full body lifting routine. Work every body part for 2 sets, 12 reps. Than do 45 mins cardio. Tues and Thurs, just 45 mins of cardio. My biggest problem is committing to a diet. I get bored with one easily.

QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 03:43 AM) lets gets this back on page 1, we are only 2 days away. I am off on Wednesdays and have no clue what I am going to do to pass the time til it starts. I see a 10 hour gym visit. Steam room, sauna, etc.

Official Recruiting Thread II

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 18, 2009 -> 11:51 PM) Coach Kill isn't messing around. We had a recruit in here this weekend who cancelled a visit to Florida (and he has an offer from the Gators) to be in DeKalb. Now I understand that he probably did this because he'd be a benchwarmer in Gainesville, and a candidate to start as a freshman here, but the symbolism of such news makes me feel good, even if this kid doesn't end up going to NIU. http://highschoolsports.nola.com/news/arti...ted-to-alabama/ Coach Kill is definitely a coach that will be successful no matter where he goes. He rightfully used SIU as a stepping stone and could see him using NIU the same way. -

QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 10:27 AM) http://www.laketheposts.com/2009/01/super-busy-weekend.html Completely true. That was a pretty pathetic student section, Northwestern. I love the "Cubbie reasoning". We lost, but hey, we had more fans. -
QUOTE (bschmaranz @ Jan 19, 2009 -> 10:14 AM) A team that used to play at Comiskey is in the Super Bowl, how can you NOT root for them!? Oh wait, Kurt Warner's their QB. Yeah. How on earth could you pull for a QB who is a 2 time MVP, was said to be done, only to get his starting job back and take a franchise that was so inept to the Super Bowl. Not to mention no off field problems and does oodles of charity work. I just hate guys like that.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 18, 2009 -> 08:59 PM) Do I get Catherine Zeta-Jones? Her sliding through those lasers was awesome. Whatever happened to her?

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 18, 2009 -> 08:45 PM) Hatin on the Buckeyes a little bit there. Not too mention, with wins over Duke and UCLA, Michigan would really have to nose dive not to get in the tournament. -

QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Jan 18, 2009 -> 08:37 PM) SIU returns the favor to Bradley and wins 68-62. It shouldnt have even been that close, but once Anthony Booker got hurt the wind came out of the Salukis sails. Hopefully he doesnt have a significant knee injury He really had the crowd into the game and looked awesome. Ryan Hare is quietly consistent for SIU. -
That was awesome by Harrison.
-
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jan 18, 2009 -> 05:14 PM) Um, Cardinals...you aren't the champions of the world yet. All NFC/AFC title games end with that kind of celebration. 61 years. They deserve it. You wanna say, "Act like you have been there before", but they haven't.

Mac gone from Mac, Jurko and Harry

What day does Mac write his Suntimes article? Should be a good one. -
That's Cardinals ball, unless I'm missing something. Awful officiating. That ball was never close to hitting out of bounds.
-
Nice drive.
-
Nothing against McNabb, but Go Cardinals. I can not stand Philly fans. They don't deserve this success.
-
Suck it, Blues.
