  1. Even if SIU loses tonight, I just hope they play good and keep it close. With all the strides they have made to get better, it would suck to get blown out.
  2. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jan 24, 2009 -> 01:13 AM) As pretty much the only ISU fan ever in this forum, I pretty much have to be a huge homer to get any conversation going. Even though I really do believe ISU is better than UIUC. Osiris and Champ are good, bit there is a reason there are at ISU and not a Big Ten school or other major conference.

QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 12:54 PM) People will want to love The Reader and others won't give it the time of day just because they think it's just about the Holocaust....and that's too bad. Slum Mil is not just about some guy on a game show. Is The Wrestler just about a wrestler? (haven't seen it, but I bet it's not). Just got back from Slumdog. Thought it was very good. Not sure if it was best movie. Still wanna see Wrestler and others.

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 02:32 PM) Now that makes some sense, considering they were all British and she was French. Does that mean they've gone back in time about 16 years ago though? Yup.

Skimming over the lostpedia boards, some of the crew that was shown yesterday could of been Rousseu's team. Oy ve. My head hurts.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 11:46 AM) Then again I, like the rest of you, have no f***ing idea what we are talking about. We all don't know what we are talking about until the series finale. Ha

QUOTE (BobDylan @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 10:23 AM) Damn. I haven't seen the movie, but just from reading the short story, I wouldn't imagine the movie could be any good -- and I'm a huge F. Scott Fitzgerald fan. I love Fincher, but Benjamin Button bored the crap outta me. It may win some technical awards, but no way pic or actor.

I'm gonna do my re-watch today on DVR. I liked the 2nd episode better than the 1st. 1st hour had way too many commercial breaks. I think that first scene with Faraday at the Orchid, we will see again. I think Ben is just using the O6 so he can get back to the island somehow. And the line of the night was, "Why is there a dead Pakastani on my couch?" So was it Dharma shooting the arrows or Hostiles?
  10. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Jan 21, 2009 -> 08:42 PM) SIU is starting to look a little more recognizable, maybe the season can be salvaged. I would be a lot happier right now had they beaten Creighton 2 games ago, but that is not a game you can count on, so I guess its just water under the bridge. Dillard is already a stud, man can that little guy play. I was so jacked when I heard we got Ryan Hare. He has been consistently good as well. The MVC is NOT stacked this year. It maybe competitive between the teams, but we are only getting 1 in the tournament this year.
  11. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Jan 21, 2009 -> 04:06 PM) Orton's winning the Rumble. Put money on it. It wouldn't shock me to see that the Vince getting punted was Stephanie's idea as an angle. I think you maybe right about the Steph thing. She was a heel GM than for a week or two, a face. When was the last time a heel won the Rumble? Vince?

Off today and needed something to pass the time. Popped in "Meet Kevin Johnson". Figure I will watch from then on. Just leave it on in the back ground. I'll use spoiler tag just in case. But just a theory of mine.

QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 21, 2009 -> 11:08 AM) The female trainers at my gym look fantastic, you look at them and you know they're trainers. The men, on the other hand, look like average guys. NS72, you're right about the injury factor. Most people at gyms are pretty nice and will show you proper form if you ask. I'll even offer advice if I see someone doing something dangerous. Male and female trainers at my gym are all in great shape.
  16. QUOTE (SnB @ Jan 21, 2009 -> 07:22 AM) agreed, that character was terrible. I actually thought she was just getting somewhat interesting and they fired her. Oh well.

  19. QUOTE (Greenman @ Jan 20, 2009 -> 09:18 PM) Her face is alright, I dont think shes ugly or anything Maybe just a bad pic. Her body is kicking though.

  22. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 20, 2009 -> 07:30 PM) That alone makes Minny one of the worst teams in the country True...sob.
