  1. I have no idea where drudgereport.com gets this stuff but for what it's worth drudgereport.com
  2. Frank: "Who the hell is this crazy canuck that keeps paparazziing my ass!"
  3. QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ May 19, 2005 -> 09:53 PM) Not so good. Awful dialogue and perhaps the most predictable story line ever. Cold Case was also crappy and predictable. I can't tell if tv was always like this--or, since I rarely watch it, that I've forgotten its crappiness. Wasn't too special. But I'm not sure what I was expecting. The only time Quentin's goofiness shined through was with Nick dream, but I didn't find it all that funny. Nonetheless I enjoyed it and it wasn't a waste of my time.
  4. QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ May 19, 2005 -> 04:42 PM) I'll make another comparison. Take you, for whom anti-American crap is obviously rampant. Then BigHurt makes a sensational accusation towards you of anti-Americanism. This incites many posters on here to berate you endlessly. The accuracy comes into question but the presence of anti-Americanism is always present anyways. Therefore you could say that you are really to blame. It's the same with Guantanamo, records of Abuses are apparent. LOL! Great post.
  5. http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/20...ence050519.html No election and all those polls don't mean much now. Most Recent Poll Numbers Libs 34.7 Cons 28.3 http://www.metronews.ca/reuters_international.asp?id=74094
  6. Not a huge CSI fan but I'm going to check it out tonight.
  7. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ May 19, 2005 -> 12:16 PM) If they didn't have an agenda then why print something as inflammatory as this without checking their facts first. They thought it was true. Contrary to what the White House wants you to think Newsweek probably didn't publish an article to take a shot at Bush or whomever. I'm sure newsweek didn't believe their source would fold under white house and pentagon pressure. Blaming Newsweek for the deaths of these people is really irresponsible on the White Houses behalf. I'm going to make a comparison. Take Russia where corruption is obviously rampant. Then a news outlet publishes an article where a paragraph makes a sensational claim of corruption which incites the population. The accuracy comes into question but the presence of corruption is was always present anyways. Therefore you'd say that the Kremlin is really in the end to blame. It's the same with Guantanamo, records of Abuses are apparent.
  8. QUOTE(TheBigHurt35 @ May 19, 2005 -> 10:57 AM) Newsweek obviously had an agenda when they published the story. Does anyone actually have a link to the article? I hear the part about the Koran was only a couple of lines. Oh yah and lol at newsweek has an agenda
  9. If you want to catch him for one last time watch Tarantino's CSI tommorow (thursday), he's in it.

  11. Another poll taken May 12th to 15th Nationwide Libs 33 Cons 30 NDP 19 Green 6 ------ Liberals see big boost in Quebec and Ontario Ontario Libs 43 Cons 30 NDP 21 Green 6 Quebec Bloc 48 Libs 25 Cons 14 NDP 9 Green 4 In Ontario and Quebec the Liberals have gained 9 points. Conservatives have lost 5 points in Ontario and actually gained 6 in Quebec. The Separatist Bloc Quebecois has lost 8 points. http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/stor...130/?hub=Canada Note this poll is taken before yesterday's big ordeal.
  12. Another poll Libs 32 Conservative 31 http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2005/04...1017347-cp.html
  13. Can't find a link yet to the poll, but along with the massive hit the Conservatives are feeling with losing one of their top ministers the most up to date polls shows them trailing 33 to 31 percent nationally. And in Ontario, the voter rich battleground they now trail by 8 or 9 points (iirc). The last poll I showed was taken from May 10th to 12th This one was from the 12th to 16th and had a larger sample size This poll also took place before this morning's huge announcement, which will probably have a large impact on future polls. Also note that with the defection of Stronach to the Liberals an election may not happen just yet and the polls may not be really important. By Thursday night we'll probably know what's going to happen.
  14. Great win for the guys tonight. Jon Garland proving he's the stud I always thought he could be.
  15. QUOTE(kapkomet @ May 17, 2005 -> 03:08 PM) If you're going to open that can of worms, Mr. Hannity and Mr. Limbaugh, er, I mean, BigHurt, then what about Rwanda and Somolia and everywhere else on the planet genocide occurs? Why Iraq? (gee, I wonder - and NO, it's not oil). Yasny made a great point post about this in a past thread. Simply to say that the US Forces invaded Iraq because Saddam was an mf'er is ignorant.

  21. QUOTE(winodj @ May 16, 2005 -> 05:24 PM) Does this mean that the So Called Liberal Media is responsible for the death of thousands of US soldiers for not adequately investigating the claims about weapons of mass destruction? It's funny, basically everyone seems to be disatisfied with the media. Count me in.
