  1. Boy did we go out with a whimper in the ninth -- Pauly was the only one who battled in his AB.
  2. batting .326 compared to carlos' .265
  3. :fyou I hate first pitch outs.
  4. Clearly you can judge a pitcher by one outing -- Cotts will work better if he doesn't have to deal with inherited runners --
  5. You better get reading -- There will be a test afterwards.
  6. First of all there's three more outs... Second --- can I get the Daffynition™ for bedeficial?
  7. Thomas is 0-for-7 since 2001 in his PH appearences (per ESPN)
  8. damn last year it was the other way around.
  9. Anyone wanna place an over under on Number of batters faced for Koch? Number of pitches befoer he throws a strike? Number of Homers given up by koch? Number of walks issued by Kocj?
  10. I don't know -- I just know that was the original deal.
  11. Jackson got squeezed there.
  12. not unless we are willing to take on Roger Cedeno --- NO THANKS
  13. just wanted to note --- Rowand is batting .294 now.
  14. We are the last team in the Majors without a loss at home ------- WE'RE GOING TO KEEP IT THAT WAY
  15. I don't know??? They need him for a long man just in case?
  16. This is not the time to be running -- we need baserunners to score
  17. Neal WILL get us through the ninth without another run surrendered -- We just need the offense to battle for three more runs.
  18. THAT WAS A BULLs*** CALL :fyou
  19. It think neal has walked the first hitter he has seen in every major league appearence.
  20. maybe a few lite showers -- all nine will get played -- maybe more
  21. Adkins isn't getting sent down... It doesn't make sense -- Wunch is being traded
  22. I'd love to see that... But I wouldn't want to waste such an important pitcher as Frank in an outing like that... That sounds like a job for Billy Koch --- Or for those who remember the good-ol' days, Charlie hough. I can remember sitting through a nearly 4 hour affair where Hough went 8 innings in the loss -- He threw to first more than he threw home.
  23. The end of the game there couldn't have been more than 1500 people there... It was awsome ... By far the favorite game I've been to where the sox have lost.
