Sun-Times Need To Get Their Facts Straight
The reason the Sun-Times' layout is like a magazine is so it's easier to read while on the toilet. Then if you happen to be out of TP, you can use the paper for it's real purpose.

Shitty Beer Poll
Nuke, you got ripped off -- Bought a 30 pack for 2.99 (that was abuot 5 years ago though)-- Was the worst beer ever -- I'm sure it was on sale because it was years old :puke
-
Rauch???
I was at the game and sat right next to the bullpen -- I didn't notice any 6'11" players -- I don't think that would have slipped by me.
-
Scott Schoeneweis: You sir, are good:
Took a little time to find it, but I was cautiously optomistic. link
-
Scott Schoeneweis: You sir, are good:
I know I had a long post in defense of him, just after his last ST appearence-- I was at the game tonight and it appeared that he was throwing the cutter, something I don't think he did in the last one. He was throwing something at about 85-88MPH that seemed to give the hitters problems -- I was in left field so maybe my observation is coming out of just there, left field. I didn't see a change-up, which I know he was working on in ST, that I'm positive of.

Parking Help
Yes, but since most of the parking is built where the Old comiskey once stood there are more cars and busses trying to get onto exits north of the Cell -- Since there's less parking to the south there's less people trying to exit there.
-
attendance for tonights game....
Yeah I Jumped up so high, on the DP, I landed on the cupholder, breaking it, and fell forward onto the people in the row in front of us --
-
attendance for tonights game....
The Jeter vs. Politte AB was the best.
-
Parking Help
I generally park south of the stadium -- I was in E tonight -- I was back home in less time than it took you to get out of the Park -- There was alot of people there tonight -- there, sadly, usually isn't that many there.
-
Minor League Games
I don't know why but that made me laugh out loud.
-
4/22 Gamethread -- Sox vs. Yanks
It wasn't on Sportcenter -- Though they did show a two out Arod error that allowed maggs to reach first, he didn't score -- In other words it didn't factor in the outcome of the game, yet it was worthy of airing.
-
Why are you a Sox fan?
The Cubs were on when I wanted to watch cartoons. :fthecubs
-
Happy Birthday Jason!
Had a beer for you at the game - Oh and the sox won
-
Public financing
I'm done answering your questions until you tell me what they are for. Are you researching a paper? It seems to me that you are just collecting data, ideas, and opinions from the people here, which isn't a bad thing, but if you really cared about these topics you'd stick around to talk about them. Soxtalk has a ton of highly intelligent posters who would be more than willing to have a discussion on the economic of baseball, while financing a new stadium. But you need to stick around and DIALOGUE to do anything more than scratch the surface of the issue at hand.

Scott Schoeneweis: You sir, are good:
Thanks guys -- I'm going to have a new stat then -- Superb Starts Same as quality starts, only you have to pitch 7 innings -- It's important because a quality start + weak bullpen is still likely to equal a loss. While a superb start + average bullpen should equal a win.

We were talking about this at the game after shoe got pulled -- I think he's been pulled in the 7th of each game (from what i remember) -- What exactly is a "quality start" I thought it was 7IP pitched allowing 3 or fewer runs -- My friend said 6IP Just wonderin.

4/22 Gamethread -- Sox vs. Yanks
Just got back from Freezin my azz off at the game -- I just missed catching the Crede Home run ball -- If you see a replay, I'm in a gray jacket, grey stocking hat, about two rows below where the ball landed. If I would have brought a glove to the game I would have caught it -- I haven't seen a replay yet so I don't know if you would even be able to see me. The Sox are 2-0 when I start Gamethreads -- I didn't read through this one, but I say BEGOOD, and his 0-3 record get demoted to the Minor League board
