  1. Somethings got to go down soon -- I was listening to the nights game last night, and they said that Kelly only had a few more days left on his 30-day rehab eligablity.
  2. First of all it's nearly impossible not to win in the NFL(the Bengals even won 8 games) -- I submit the 2003 Chicago Bears as exhibit A -- They nearly finished .500, while having the worst offensive line I have ever seen in a bears uniform -- Remember the San Fran game :puke Why bring JA into this argument? -- I never mentioned him, Nobody else mentioned him -- The Name of the thread is "TJ/A-train", yet when you've been 'pwn3d' by several posters here, you bring up other names like Clinton Portis.. Or bring up JA. For what purpose? -- Are you really taking away from the real argument -- TJ has never done anything to deserve a starting NFL job. He couldn't hack it in Arizona, couldn't beat out the HOF Pittman in TB, Fumbles the ball, and doesn't break big runs -- Why would I welcome a guy who is a castoff of both Arizona and TB? Are thier uniforms made of kryptonite? Will TJ suddenly turn into superman because he puts on a magic jersey? Will I be mad if the Bears win, make the playoffs with TJ as thier featured back? No. I'm a Bears fan. But just because I'm a bears fan, doesn't mean I have to accept everything they do as Gospel. That would be acting like a cubs fan. So I'm going to continue to question the moves of the Bears. There will be some moves I like, and some that I don't. Some moves will work, others won't. There's no reason to have blind faith in any sports organization. That's just "Cubbieism".
  3. I was at that game for my Birthday party --
  4. Well Ian you were right Creating the calendar thing is a b**** -- I stayed up too late trying to finish -- But here's my attempts -- 800x600 1072(or whatever it is)--This is the big one. Be patient, my webspace has been know to be extremely slow on occasion.
  5. I'll see If I can take my Logo's and make a change --
  6. Twins winning -- so are the F'n Cubs -- Daigle pitching vs. the Cubs -- They should just put Jenny Finch out there, at least she'd look good.
  7. I don't know -- I think yours from April was just in my subconscience -- I took the logos from each team and put them next to the game date -- I even had them looking the same, They were contained in a rectangle with rounded corners and were slighly obscured by horizontal lines -- That was the only part that was really the same, but it was eerie how simillar that part was -- I put them on the right side though(at least I have some originality )
  8. I can't explain it --- Though this may help Read from this post through the rest of the thread -- It gets a little crazy I don't know what he was on that day
  9. I decided to try and make one last night (I had never made a desktop walpaper before, so I thought I'd try)-- I was bored -- 2 hours later I was nowhere near completion... As I put it away, I looked up the April one, mine was taking on pretty much the same form -- It almost looked like I hade copied Ian's -- I took that as a sign that I wasn't going to finish -- but who knows, the night is young, and it's not may yet -- I'll post it if I ever finish.
  10. The tigers are getting to the point where we might have to take them seriously --
  11. I'll agree that he is surprise, but you have to remember He has almost 20 saves at the Major League level... I had pretty much written him off, in terms of every being able to contribute to the big-league club, but the way he's goin right now, he may prove me wrong.
  12. That's cool -- My grandpa played in the Industrial League -- I forget which team though.

    Popups

which one are you using? Anything initiated by the page you are visiting should be killed -- Google does a good job 4 me. ---------- Those pop-ups that the blocker doesn't get are most likely actually generated from your computer -- I had some serious problems with this a few weeks ago. I just ran some spybot/adaware and figured out what it was. deleted. no more problems.
  14. Thorpe's goin down that is if he doesn't false start
  15. I'm listening to the Game -- Kohlmeier started - sounded great -- retired 15(maybe 16?) batters in a row at one point. Wunch just came in and got a K and the gave up a Double -- Majewski into the game now.
  16. I certainly didn't mean for that to happen -- I just wanted to take a shot at the cubs.
  17. Just another reason to hate the cubs... :fthecubs
  18. Ben Christiansen was a pitcher for Wichta St -- He was regarded as a top 10 Pick in the Draft -- He threw at a guy's HEAD in the on deck circle, rendering unable to play baseball -- Cristiansen wasn't able to play the rest of the season, his draft stock dropped, but the cubs picked him up in the late first round-- He got a big signing bonus, and Molina is delivering furniture. Here's an article about the guy he beaned -- 5 years later
  19. The way the NBA lottery works, the Bulls can not get worse than the 5th pick, and that would only be if orlando wasn't in the top 3

  21. Yeah there was a thread a week or two ago -- I, myself, didn't see it until last night's broadcast I thought it was pretty good -- It represented both sides well.
