Google Task Bar= the greatest invention..EVER

I have Yahoo and Google Toolbars and pop-up blockers so i have DOUBLE the pop up blocking power ;)

JUst download Mozilla Firefox and use that as your internet explorer. Comes with a popup blocker so you don't have to worry about having other programs for it. Plus, tabbed windows RULES! :headbang

I switch back and forth. Mozilla is nice. With AOL killing Netscape, I suspect Mozilla will be the #2 for Microsoft bashers. I use IE with the Google task bar. I love hearing the pop pop pop of pop ups getting blocked.

I get those stupid popups that popup blocker doesn't block

which one are you using?

Anything initiated by the page you are visiting should be killed -- Google does a good job 4 me.

Those pop-ups that the blocker doesn't get are most likely actually generated from your computer -- I had some serious problems with this a few weeks ago. I just ran some spybot/adaware and figured out what it was. deleted. no more problems.

If you open Mozilla, look at the toolbar under the address bar, the one with the three documents titled, Mozilla Firebird help, User Support Forum, and Plugin FAQ. Click on the Plugin FAQ one and it'll tell you what to do to get java and all those other plugins to work. hope i helped. :)

I just went to Download.com and dled one. Along with the google tool bar, I don't get too many popups.

No, you download the plugin and then install it under the mozilla browser. I think you may still have the older Firebird browser, instead of the new Firefox.

Mozilla is badass though, and once I update the board (still waiting for the final release) then everything will work 100% perfect on the mozilla browser.

I love the fact that I never ever ever see popups and its all FREE :headbang

I downloaded firefox and downloaded java again but i still cant get it to work
