4/22 Gamethread -- Sox vs. Yanks
Gene Honda Civic replied to Gene Honda Civic's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Just got back from Freezin my azz off at the game -- I just missed catching the Crede Home run ball -- If you see a replay, I'm in a gray jacket, grey stocking hat, about two rows below where the ball landed. If I would have brought a glove to the game I would have caught it -- I haven't seen a replay yet so I don't know if you would even be able to see me. The Sox are 2-0 when I start Gamethreads -- I didn't read through this one, but I say BEGOOD, and his 0-3 record get demoted to the Minor League board -

I took Greg Norton -- I don't think frank will even PH I see DL in his future. -
Maybe he's worried about his daughter in the stands.

BEGOOD started the last two gamethreads -- Both losses -- I didn't want to risk that trend continuing -- I put my perfect record on the line today,(I think) -- So talk about the game here -- Scouting report to follow in a few minutes.
-
I know a couple of people in the real estate investment game -- and they have both recently aquired properties near Comisky.
-
That's moot -- They just traded a second rounder for Dillon.
-
Don't give KW so much credit for that one -- Brian cashman, George stienbrener, and the evil empire pushed that deal through to block him from going to Boston.
-
nope that's just :begood
-
I say we kidnap him...
-
Who would Miami be moving up to take? Phillip Rivers?
-
So far this season -- There has been a very direct correlation between willies ability to get on base, and The outcome of the game -- Willie just needs to get on base anyway possible -- Has he had a bunt hit yet, it just sad if he hasn't, and we watched the bronx bombers drop down two in the first inning of the last 2 games.

Minny Loses to Detroit -- White Sox Magic # = 150
-
I don't see how sending a guy down would enstill confidence in him.
-
Let me see... _32000 +25000 _57000 The cheat picked 77,737 in YNOT 20,000+ for thursday sounds pretty close.
-
Don't look now, but headed to the ninth Minny has pulled back within 3 -- 11-8 detroit.
-
Two years ago Kong wasn't on the ballot either.
-
Not that it would have mattered much, but what was .184Crede doing hitting against rivera in the ninth?
-
Uribe can move to third.
-
PH sandy!!!!
-
Sandy has hit Rivera well -- 3 for 5 with 2 doubles --- PH him for Crede.
-
looking forward to the ninth --- vs. Rivera Konerko - 2 for 7 Gload - Batting .1000 1 for 1 Crede - O for 2 with a BB Looking to PH -- Frank is 0-8 off of rivera.
-
And that's the difference between Garland and Vasquez --- As the innings went on JG gave up the longball, whereas in his last inning of work Vazquez K'ed our #3&4 hitters----- I'm not ripping on Jon -- It take a special pitcher to be able to do that -- JG will get there eventually... Tonight he kept us in the game pitching great -- even the homers' weren't that bad from what I've read.

Lets show som epatience at the plate guys
