dont remind me -- we gave up our first round pick for that loser -- :puke
-
Wow is this a pitchers duel -- thru three the only "hits" are a bunt single a ball lost in the lights by carlos and a botched FC by Jeter
-
HOLY s*** -- Did aaron Rowand lay off of 3 pitches in a row low-and-away --- Things may be looking up
-
Fogg faced 6 batters didn't retire a single one -- :puke
-
Wow looks like Garland is pitchin' a gem -- 32pitches thru 3 - 21 strikes -- allowed 2 hits (a bunt, and a ball carlos lost in the lights) Keep it up Jon
-
Jon needs to step up big time to keep us in this game -- ----------- Detroit up 6-nil in Minny -- Radke getting shelled.
-
It may have something to do with both the cubs and sox being on FSN at the same time?
-
Jon's sinker induces a ton of GIDP
-
He's acting more like sammy everyday.
-
Damn I didn't want to hear that
-
Detroit has scored 2 runs on minnesota in the top of the first -- runners on 1st &2nd nobody out.
-
Well we avoided another first inning meltdown -- How'd Garland look?
-
I'm here --- Stuck at work -- MLB gamecast isn't working for the sox game -- how about some PBP wille
-
MLB gamecast says the wind's blowing out at 17MPH to left field --- Hopefully we can lift some balls into the jetstream and tocuh up Vazquez a little.
-
Mods can merge this -- I have to hit refresh while at work to see all of the new threads/replies -- I forgot to and thus thought I was posting a new topic.
-
Just because there was a thread awhile back about how good kip wells is... How about a hand for Josh Fogg today -- He single-handedly gave the Cubs a victory, and it's not even the third inning yet. Pittsburgh IP H R ER BB K HR Season ERA J. Fogg 0.0 3 6 5 2 0 0 17.00 He threw 32 pitches, and retired nobody. I don't think there's any reason to believe that Fogg would be in our pen at all, let alone the rotation.
-
Rex you're just quicker than me --- Damn telephone at work.
-
Just curious are you using us as research for a paper or something??? All of your posts have related to the business end of baseball, specifically new stadiums are you Abe Pohlan? -------------------- New stadiums do create jobs -- someone has to build/design the stadium -- New stadiums also tend to have more amenities which require more workers i.e. more consessions, vendors, etc. New stadiums can improve an area -- Though the stadium will no accomplish this on it's own. A broader plan than just a new sports facility is needed to regenerate a depleted nieghborhood.

I know we had a bunch of polls like this a couple of months ago, but the draft picture has become a little clearer since then. Only a little though. I didn't include any players becuase there are too many to choose from, and too many different scenarios. I just wanted to get a feeling from everyone here, since the recent free agent moves, what should the bears do with thier pick now. ---------------------------- I'll bump our old mock draft thread, to see how accurately we got it, this weekend.
-
I think the marlins are just a fun team to watch -- young, talented, exuberent -- They are my favorite team besides the sox to watch.
-
I know when I lived in Iowa my interest faded abit -- But I was hanging around a bunch of Cardinals fans and it was during the whole Sam-me/Big Mac thing, and the season after the "white flag trade" so my two years out there coincided with down years to be a white sox fan -- When I got back in 2000 I was like a drug adict who just escaped from rehab. I couldn't get enough sox -- It's pretty much been the same ever since.

there's been 2000 hits and 11 bids since i first posted this -- PTI gave him enough exposure to make some money. -
