I didn't see one person pound southsiderod. There was a collective But no one attacked him in any way. If you consider comments that essentially shrugged it off "pounding", then yes our collective disregard of his comments pounded him. Its just one of those things. On an internet message board you have to build your "internet identity". Those with a more established identity are afford the luxury of venting without being labelled a troll, because there is a documented history of posts to back up thier position as quality poster, not a troll. Think of it this way if you go to a bar a few times and start trouble, i.e. fight, rude to the help, not paying your tab, etc., each time you're there, they're not going to let you come back. If you come onto a message board and continually deliberately post s*** that will draw fire, you're not going to be around long either. As for us attacking new posters check out this thread, also from today, 22 responses all welcoming him. well my welcome may not have been the warmest but I told him about the site, so i get to "attack" him in the first post . welcome thread

In a word: nope----------------- Urlachers deal as it is written now means he make like 5-6 MIL a year over the rest of his contract. Even JA isn't stupid enough to make that deal. He is one of the best deals in the NFL. Not to mention the fan backlash the trade would cause.

The talks with Sapp's agent are really only if the Tait deal falls through. I think that after the Tait deal, the TJ deal, and the money set aside to sign the incoming rookie class, the bears only have in the vicinity of $3MIL left. That could be adjusted, as RW is either going to restructure his contract, or face being cut after June 1.
