GAME THREADS WARNING

The Yermin-Vaughn-Abreu Conundrum
Nope, not at all. Still one short under contract for 2022 for a solid 4 OF tandem. Top teams have more solid players than positions. Eloy/Yermin? DH Abreu 1B Robert CF Engel/Vaughn/Eloy Corners Waiting for Cespedes, if Eaton is healthy and producing there's a chance they pick up his second year option. I'd prefer Eloy never play OF, but that may depend on Yermin's ability to continue to rake throughout the season, and continue through inevitable pitcher adjustments once teams have more video to review.

White Sox Game 2 Winner!
This has been my favorite day as a White Sox fan since 2005. Looking up the record book, the last time the White Sox swept two doubleheaders in a season, and in a single month was the prior millennium, 1999. The White Sox swept Tampa Bay in April, and then swept Texas and Baltimore in August. I have a feeling this team will finish with a much better record than the 75-86 finish of the 1999 squad. Also glad Boyd doesn't appear to have a major injury at this juncture. Keep the line moving!

Ethan Katz
A lot of jokes about "Katz will fix'em" in the off-season. He is my favorite White Sox acquisition over the past four seasons. Kudos to Katz and his staff for an amazing start to the season. Hope there are many more months like this to come.

The radio team relayed Boyd's injury was reported as knee tendinitis, so good news relatively speaking for him as it could have been a lot worse.- Tigers @ Sox 4/29 Game 2
Hoping this injury delay doesn't give Tony enough time to think of inserting Hamilton to Pinch Run for Vaughn.- Tigers @ Sox 4/29 Game 2
Nice double, that might get him in the lineup this at least once weekend!- White Sox Closing up Schaumburg
They announced the landing spots for many of these players. https://theathletic.com/2553200/2021/04/29/white-sox-will-send-jake-burger-to-triple-a-charlotte-amid-other-aggressive-minor-league-assignments/ AAA: Lambert (OD Starter); Burger; Sheets; L. Gonzalez; Rutherford; Zavala. AA: Cespedes; Adolfo. A: Thompson; Dalquist; Kelley; Rodriguez; Mieses; Ramos; Gladney; Bailey; Torres. Also, Cespedes had an EV of 119 MPH on a ball hit yesterday, the hardest Getz has ever witnessed.- Managing pitcher's innings for the playoffs
They are going to manage nearly everyone's innings. If you have 1,600 IP (includes potential post season); (Starters 1,050): 190 Giolito + 190 Lynn + 170 Keuchel + 150 Cease + 150 Rodon + 130 Kopech + 70 Lopez/Other (Relievers 550): 75 Hendriks + 70 Heuer + 70 Bummer + 60 Marshall + 60 Crochet + 60 Ruiz + 60 Foster + 95 Callups/Fry/Aquisition(s) Kopech and Crochet likely have hard limits, tried to be conservative with their IP estimates. I really like the idea of a six man rotation for 6-8 weeks to give everyone some rest due to the uniqueness of bouncing back from the short year. Health obviously is the major wildcard, going in you figure at least a few 10 stints as a bare minimum each season across the rotation, If you "must" go with 10-20 IP from position players, I don't want Yermin pitching anymore, should only be backups. If Tony loves Leury so much, let him pitch twice a month. I believe someone stated on the Score today position players have a 1.00 ERA after 60 IP this season. Sounds like many teams are embracing position players soft tossing late in blowouts to save the bullpen.- Tigers @ Sox 4/29 Game 2
Tony will need to reach over a quarter into his seventeenth season to allow Leury to pass Cal Ripken Junior.- Tigers @ Sox 4/29 Game 2
Just announced they will not start game two until they allow a “potential storm line” to pass through. No start time was conveyed. Jerry wants that concession ca$h.- Tigers @ Sox 4/29 Game 2
I’m trying to hit every Chicago brewpub this year starting Memorial Day. Looking forward to hitting the two that way, sad Argus in Pullman closed last March. Golden Ale is a solid choice, believe they brew it here vs. the n Baldswinsville/ Fort Collins.- Tigers @ Sox, 4/29/21
Haven’t heard from Parkins and Spiegel regarding their weekly segment job offer to Cooper.- Tigers @ Sox, 4/29/21
It made sense for COVID, loss of games and players. If this is permanent after the next CBA, complete bullshit.- White Sox Game 1 Winner!
Glad Leury got his hit and feels good after a tough start to the year, but don’t want to see him game two.- Tigers @ Sox, 4/29/21
If go Lucas, Lynn locked as 1-2, than Rodon or Kopech depending on health innings and stuff in September. Keuchel pitched out of the pen in his playoffs prior to last year, wouldn’t be a bad long option.- Tigers @ Sox, 4/29/21
Good, thanks I thought I heard Len say Rodon was still pitching (I’m on a long walk). Great win, hope Eaton eats his suspension game during game two, rest of the starters are available. Time to win two and the Series!!! Good clutch hit Leary and great performance Carlos!- Tigers @ Sox, 4/29/21
So Tony is trying for three straight 110 + pitch Rodon outings today?- Tigers @ Sox, 4/29/21
Great job today Carlos! Time for the bullpen to close it out after his 96 pitches. Hope they tack on some insurance here.- Tigers @ Sox, 4/29/21
I’d be more concerned with facing a swatting incident after the deluge of calls to the FBI.- Tigers @ Sox, 4/29/21
Have to give Leury and Tony an extension after that inning. Perhaps Tony will learn his name by the time their tenure ends.- Tigers @ Sox, 4/29/21
Rodon is pitching awesome, and I hope the Sox score either this or next inning for a shot at a win. That said, I don’t want to see him pitch over 100 pitches for a third straight game, regardless of score, after going 114 and 110 the past two, early in the season.- Tigers @ Sox, 4/29/21
People who defend these lineups and decisions state the players failed to perform. Let’s be crystal clear, THE WRONG PLAYERS ARE PLAYING. TONY’s DECISIONS CONTINUE TO COST THE TEAM RUNS AMD GAMES.- GAME THREADS WARNING
This. It took a few years for Michael to sweep out his father’s permanent FO and replace with widely regarded competent management. Even if the Reinsdorf family retains the team after Jerry steps down or passes, I have hope a similar process will play out with the White Sox. - Tigers @ Sox 4/29 Game 2
