Damn, Royce came up in a thread and I didn't get to rip on him while the conversation was still going. That sucks. I'd just like to say that as Sox fans we do not just have to drink the cool-aid as it is handed to us. We have the both the right and responsibility to complain where there are things about the team that suck, including the players. If you want to blindly cheer for a team regardless of how badly they suck you would find more people with similar tastes on the north side of town in my opinion. I will always hope the Sox do well but I promise to be pissed if they don't.

I think starting Cotts is the right call regardless of what happens in the game tomorrow. The rest won't hurt Buhrle even if everything else is the same either way.

I don't think there is any question that he's sucked this year. I do find it a little hard to say he's sucked the previous four years though. I'm willing to see how he starts out next year before I start wishing he played for the Cubs.

I'm a fan from the Master of Puppets days, Ride the Lightning and Kill 'em All rocked. I'm not a fan of And Justice and the black album. I thought Load was pretty good actually. Reload sucked on the other hand. Do they have a new album out. I know there is a new song but I haven't bothered getting excited about it.
