I didn't realize he actually pitched last night. I tuned out after a while. I'm still curious what happened.

I heard Farmer say on the air during the game yesterday that the simulated game Koch was supposed to pitch yesterday didn't happen. Anyone have the inside story on why?

Just digging this out to keep my head out of the clouds. I'm not happy until I'm watching White Sox baseball in October.

I know this is a thread about the offense but what I love is that we have some defense to go with it. Olivo is quickly becoming one of my favorite players on the team. And even though Crede isn't lighting it up with his bat, his defense, along with that of Jose and Roberto, is keeping us solid in the infield. I'm not convinced they are going to keep it up yet but I am really enjoying it right now.

i still hate garland Jon has given us some really quality starts this year, more good ones than bad for sure. He has also been much more consistent lately. Yea he was a little shaky early but the fact that he hasn't completely fallen apart shows some maturity on his part, especially compared to last year. He is going to continue to get better year after year and you will be eating your words eventually.

The article on the White Sox home page says he will stay in the pen this year but that he could have a shot at #5 next year.
