Have Eloy hit ahead of Grandal as well. Eloy hit a 100 + ball for a hit in the second that would have scored at least one in the first , instead of the Grandal K that we got instead. Our clutch hitting so far tonight is non existent.

TLR always doubles down on his mistakes. He was criticized by the Apple announcers for not walking Ramirez who also has been a Sox killer and has burnt TLR decisions often.

OF has been playing too deep and too shifted. Our defense and positioning has been awful in this game so far.

Because Yas is a lefty and TLR loves matchups above everything else.

The more things change the more they stay the same. No sense of urgency from TLR. You need to go all out to win the first game with Cease vs Quantrell.

It was a blunder. TLR trying to be too cute. You need to go with your best Cease and give him one more start down the road. This game looks like a managerial mismatch with TLR vs Francona one of the best.

Particularly with the slow Pollock in LF.

Should have gone with our best pitcher, Cease, on this first game IMO.

Pollock looks bad and slow in LF. Think they should have challenged Ramirez leaving early on SF.

Our bullpen is rested. Hope TLR doesn’t stretch Giolito too long if he starts tiring, like he has done in the past.
