  1. It is frustrating walking the bottom part of the lineup. However, the Yankees are patient hitters contrary to the Sox. It is also bad that the 3 runs were scored after 2 outs.
  2. I am only complaining about Sunday lineups with their heavy AAA tilt. Why not rest Moncada against KC instead? This game is against the Yankees to even the series, and we need all the guns in the game today.
  3. The Yankees don’t have TLR and we do.
  4. Should have invested in a quality catcher instead of another reliever.
  5. Agree. We need to keep Saturday’s momentum going. Why not rest Leury or Harrison instead? The Yankees are not resting anybody. Hate TLR Sunday lineups.
  6. You are right. Abreu is a double play machine.
  7. Whatever he had to eat and drink before the game, has to be preserved/ bottled for next time.
  8. Joe Kelly has been a bummer. Almost cost us 2 games to the Yankees all by himself.
  9. Yes, we are now the Mendoza Line Sox.
  10. I think it’s more a combination of hubris and incompetence in the FO than not being serious about winning. Trading for Kimbrel last season when we needed a RF instead of a closer was sheer incompetence. Atlanta traded for 3 outfielders and won the World Series. We keep bringing in relievers and leave the big hole in everyday position players at 2B and RF. Where we need the rebuild is with the FO and the field manager TLR.
  11. Sousa has looked much better than Banks. It’s time to bring Sousa ahead of Banks in game situations against lefties. No more Banks pitching to right handed sluggers please.
  12. They are also obsessed about piling relievers instead of outfielders and catchers.
  13. Is this the game that TLR saved our best relievers last night for? We had a chance to win late last night but we got Banks in again instead of Graveman or Hendriks or Ruiz. Tonight’ we have no chance against Cole.
  14. Can the Hall of Fame designation be rescinded ?
  15. Should have resigned Rodon to begin with.
  16. Looks to me that even Cesar Hernandez would have been a better choice than Harrison.
  17. Sheets was trying to hit the ball 500 ft. Just getting the ball in play somehow would have been a better choice with one out
  18. That is a difference between the Yankees and us. We don’t take walks and the Yankees do. Anybody think that the Sox would have three men on base on walks like the Yankees last night?
  19. We keep challenging our opponents best hitters: Buxton, Ramirez, Naylor, Judge, Stanton and we are paying a big prize. We seem unwilling or unable to pitch around these guys. TLR didn’t get the memo of not letting these guys beat us.
  20. TLR has no sense of urgency. It is a continuous rest-a-thon to save our millionaire players for the post season. It is too much to ask for 4 at bats in a game with all the big bucks being paid out.
  21. Don’t throw a fastball strike to Stanton or Judge to begin with.
  22. TLR is a total embarrassment of a manager. He doesn’t maximize the resources he has available during games. You need to play to win todays game when it is still winnable, worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. The bullpen moves in the 8 th. we’re inexplicable.
