Dodgers TV announcers once again called out TLR for leading off with Leury who will get more bad at bats than everybody else. They questioned TLR lineup construction, and the need to have one of your best hitters leading off. TLR is becoming a national laughingstock and hurting his legacy. He should retire.

Someone must tell TLR that the matchup/platoon system is over going forward with the crappy switch hitters that we have. Play our best performing players regardless of matchups. The lineup tonight was a disgrace with Leury, Moncada and Grandal hitting in the top five of the lineup.

Right on. Why can’t our former HOF manager figure this out?. Our worst hitters can’t be on the top five of the lineup like tonight, because they don’t move runners over, don’t get on base or drive runs, and you put them in a position to get to bat more times in a game. TLR is the worst in MLB in constructing lineups.

The problem today is that he should not be hitting lead off. Mendick has been doing well. But TLR preferred a crappy switch hitter to a righty who has been hitting well because of the match up obsession. Also no way Grandal should have hitting 5 th. This game could have been tied with a better lineup construction. It is still a winnable game, but is ever easy with TLR in command.

The lineup was not conducive to put a rally together with three guys hitting below the Mendoza line in the first 5 spots, where we should have had our best hitters. F*uk the matchups, just play our best guys regardless.

Garcia should have never been leading off in the first place. TLR has to take part of those boos. Missing TA7.

Should not have them hitting 1sT, 3rd, 5th. Moncada could not move Robert to 3rd. And Grandal could not drive him in. According to the Dodgers broadcaster Grandal has the lowest batting average in MLB. I would venture to say Moncada is there too. No way Grandal should be hitting a5 th.

This game was another punt by our punter TLR.

Thanks to Hahn for doing such a crappy job loading up with relievers and doing zero about getting some quality lefties. Last season Hahn got two all star closers but no quality left handed position players.

TLR playing the matchup game with crappy switch hitters hitting 1st., 3rd and 5 th. And Sheets has been pretty crappy lately. At least, we didn’t get Harrison tonite.

We got Leury hitting lead off , Moncada 3rd. ,and Grandal 5 th. TLR back to his old tricks - lefty/righty matchups no matter how bad the lefties are. BTW, Leury promptly swung at the first pitch of the game and popped out. No patience, no working counts, no walks, looks like Gosolin is going deep into this game.

One of the best games of the year. First game in a long time that I don’t have to question a TLR decision. Keep it going.

Moncada to seconds sounds like a good choice. He has already played many games at second before. We need to get Harrison off the field.
