  1. These guys you mention are north of 30 yrs old and in decline. Our FO also specializes in bringing in veteran FAs at the end of their careers.
  2. Not pinch hitting for Harrison, one of the main reasons we had to go to extras.
  3. Good plan, but Harrison grabbing bench.
  4. Fortunately the Cubs are worse than us.
  5. Kicking some dirt over home plate would have been nice. Throwing TLR out of the game would have also been nice to make sure he does not make another bad decision.
  6. TLR did not help by not pinch hitting for Harrison with the bases loaded earlier in the game, and again the bottom of the 9th.
  7. This is the Chicago Keystone Cops Sox. Bad hitting, bad base running, horrible defense, incompetent manager.
  8. Bad baserunning. Harrison also swung at a ball at his ankle. If Leury was also available to pinch hit along Moncada, and Pollock, why was Harrison hitting with men in scoring position three times late, and failed each time.?…
  9. Cease but he is already out of this game.
  10. At least we tied the game, but can’t get that leading run in. RBI with two outs have been hard to come.
  11. We should have won in regulation. Turned out that Moncada and Pollock could pinch hit, and TLR decided not to pinch hit for McGuire And Harrison with the bases loaded late, and again Harrison in the 9 th fails again. Yes, our D let us down, particularly Burger and ReyLo.
  12. There are two things that TLR does not like to do , one is give a take sign and two is to pinch hit.
  13. If we lose to the Cubs 1-0 in our home ballpark, we are f-cocked. As we cannot fire all the players, we need to fire the manager and some of the coaches. We need to stop the bleeding. TLR and his coaching staff has demonstrated that they do not adjust, and we are going from bad to worse. Radical change is needed.
  14. Jose just swung at ball four.
  15. Terrible at bat by Vaughn. Can’t handle slider.
  16. No depth whatsoever.
  17. So we need to adjust. Start giving more take signs, particularly on first pitches. Adjust, adjust, adjust.
  18. Our manager and coaches suck. Keep making the same mistakes over and over. No take signs are ever given. What does Miguel Cairo do? He is invisible in the dugout.
  19. With this current lineup, no doubt. No hitting, no defense, terrible manager.
  20. If you can’t hit , at least take some pitches, maybe you draw a walk or get a cookie eventually. Those sliders to McGuire were practically unhittable anyway.
  21. McGuire swung at three balls. Needed to have given him the take sign in at least the first pitch. We really suck now. Position players today are basically a AAA team.
  22. No surprise we don’t work counts and do not take walks. Very impatient hitters.
  23. Power outage with this team has been a problem, particularly in close games. We are just not hitting home runs. Missing Robert, Eloy big bats.
  24. He got called out by Stoney for not getting in front of that grounder and trying to back hand it. Our defense screwing us up again, and wasting Cease’s great start today.
  25. Sorry. Didn’t see it. My post is a synopsis of the article.
