  1. No depth whatsoever.
  2. So we need to adjust. Start giving more take signs, particularly on first pitches. Adjust, adjust, adjust.
  3. Our manager and coaches suck. Keep making the same mistakes over and over. No take signs are ever given. What does Miguel Cairo do? He is invisible in the dugout.
  4. With this current lineup, no doubt. No hitting, no defense, terrible manager.
  5. If you can’t hit , at least take some pitches, maybe you draw a walk or get a cookie eventually. Those sliders to McGuire were practically unhittable anyway.
  6. McGuire swung at three balls. Needed to have given him the take sign in at least the first pitch. We really suck now. Position players today are basically a AAA team.
  7. No surprise we don’t work counts and do not take walks. Very impatient hitters.
  8. Power outage with this team has been a problem, particularly in close games. We are just not hitting home runs. Missing Robert, Eloy big bats.
  9. He got called out by Stoney for not getting in front of that grounder and trying to back hand it. Our defense screwing us up again, and wasting Cease’s great start today.
  10. Sorry. Didn’t see it. My post is a synopsis of the article.
  11. Training staff has to be replaced. Just too many pulls, strains injuries.
  12. Why do we need to bunt Mendick with a man on second and no outs? Let him swing away. Sox cannot afford to give outs away when we are not scoring. TLR at it once again.
  13. He needed to move TA to third, not try to hit a home run. Our team lacks plate disciplin, patience.
  14. No. Terrible FO and on field management. No energy. No accountability. No adjustments. Too many injuries. Bad defense. Bad hitting and on and on.
  15. At least Ozzie is more fun and has more energy.
  16. Maybe I should rephrase it as Grandal has more upside hitting potential than Harrison, as he takes more walks and has more power.
  17. In the office and on the field.
  18. Harrison is worse than Grandal.
  19. We are missing Robert, Eloy, Moncada, and bad FA acquisitions are coming to the surface with lack of quality depth IMO.
  20. Is Leury hurt? He is a better option than Harrison at 2B and a switch hitter at that.
  21. Read Yahoo Sports article on Twins finding a new Moneyball style trick/analytics that is working for them. It’s taking the first pitch whenever possible. Analytics data is that hitters starting 0-1 are slashing.211/.255/.325 with ..580 OPS while those starting 1-0 are slashing .251/.317/.417 with .789 OPS. Twins have taken the first pitch 701 times while the White Sox last in this category have taken the first pitch 577 times. They said pitchers have been avoiding first pitch fastballs to avoid getting ambushed. First pitch strikes to Twinshitters have been averaging 56 % this season and the MLB average is around 60%. Food for thought. At any rate, the message should be that White Sox hitters should be taking more first pitches. Sox need to adjust. What they are doing now is not working.
  22. Sox as usual we’re swinging at everything. Not working any counts. Not being patient and waiting for a good pitch to hit. TLR, when awake, should start giving some take signs when warranted or give more playing time to patient hitters that work the count and take walks.
  23. You were told a lot of lies.
  24. No energy. No accountability. No adjustments. Same old crap every game over and over. This tree needs to be shaken big time.
