  1. I would say that now Seranthony should be relegated to mop up duty,a very expensive mop up pitcher though.
  2. Romo batting avg. Is down to .127, straddling the Maldonado line. Shades of Martin M.. not good memories.
  3. Agree. It was a high leverage situation for Dominguez, for which he has not been good at.
  4. And I would add Siranthony walking two including one with the bases loaded, during the Astros 8 run inning. Sox playing with a man short with Romo as an automatic out, and not hitting any homers did not help either. One of the worst games of the year. Let’s get them tomorrow.
  5. At least an ankle injury is not as bad than an Achilles tear, which would have pulled him out for the season and more.
  6. And have better defense and challenges than what we have with Quero and Romo.
  7. Can’t wait. Quero did not look good tonight. Bad challenge and the dropped pop up to begin with.
  8. Mune did hit 9 home runs in the HR Derby and pocketed some spending money…
  9. Should Will consider taking Colson out of the clean up spot? He is striking out too much swinging at pitches out of the zone.
  10. Should take a look at this option. Difficult to be worse than Romo and Quero.
  11. Better start looking at our best catching alternative in the minors or get ready for a trade deadline acquisition. We can not win the division with the Romo/Quero catching combo. And playing for Italy in the WBC when he got hurt.
  12. What is the reason that he is batting 8 th. With highest batting average in the team, and some guys hitting ahead of him having problems with RISP?
  13. In order to avoid a losing streak of more than 3 games, we need a stopper. We have a better chance now that Burke is pitching so well.
  14. Romo’s problems go beyond his horrible hitting, but also terrible challenges and bad defense particularly stopping balls on the dirt.
  15. Romo is just awful on challenges. Should be advised not to challenge unless 200% sure, not on his first at bat/early innings, and never unless is to avoid a strike out or a game situation. He has not earned the right to have a free hand on this.IMO.
  16. I don’t know but we will regret this trade. He is a first rounder also traded for no immediate help.
  17. No way Teel should be hitting 6th and ahead of Peters. Teel should be hitting no higher than 8th. IMO.
  18. He gets anxious and impatient with RISP, and keeps swinging at balls out of the zone. IMO.
  19. It would help if they move Peters up from the 8 th spot. He has the highest hitting avg in the team. He should never be hitting behind hitters like Teel. Venable roster construction can be baffling.
  20. And the Twins also lost to the Cubs. The Twins should not be over looked, they have a good team.
  21. Agree. Catching pop ups around home plate with one hand is risky.
  22. I was referring to the OPS over .700.
  23. I hate to say it but Taylor McGregor on the North Side is sexier and more charismatic. Would make me more nervous on an interview.
