  1. Agree. Robert is the main reason to watch the Sox this season. It will deflate the reducing fan base.
  2. Need to give a take sign to these mediocre undisciplined hitters
  3. Lead off walks late in a one run game often leads to a loss. Kelly has cost us 2 games in the last 2 weeks.
  4. Sox RFs we’re overly generous with the triples at Oakland.
  5. Bally Sports is bankrupt and MLB will need to pick up broadcasting of some MLB teams. This does not seem to support higher TV revenues.
  6. Sheets can’t play RF in a big outfield stadium like Oakland. He enabled some triples.
  7. Pedro loves to pinch run late and this comes back to haunt us again. Vaughn at first makes a quicker throw home in the10 th. We are not a small ball team and pinch runners are not being making a great difference. Taking out Eloy and Vaughn two of our better hitters out in a close game late was not wise. Managers have been fired for less than Grifols screwups. Grifol and Hahn should be accountable for this embarrassment and shown the door ASAP.
  8. Bad defense vs small ball not a formula for success. Sheets has not been playing first very often and reacted too slow. Andrus has to make that play. Total embarrassment of a team and manager.
  9. This answer is an embarrassment itself. Grifol can show respect by leaving him in the lineup, but certainly not hitting second. TA gets paid big money to perform well now, not for what he has done in the past. Should be hitting in the bottom third of the lineup, until he comes back to form.
  10. The .100 batting line will be named the Tim Anderson line, joining Mendoza in infamy.
  11. Sox going against a pitcher with an ERA over 8. Normally means nothing. We play down to competition often.
  12. Deer in the head lights material in the dugout
  13. And this is against the worst pitching staff in MLB.
  14. TA hitting second hurts us again. 4 Ks tonight so far. How can Pedro be so dumb doubling down on TA hitting 2 nd.?
  15. Our guys must have dinner reservations at a nice restaurant, as everyone is impatient, and not working any counts.
  16. The heart of our lineup couldn’t do anything against a pitcher with a 10.5 ERA.
  17. Tim avoided the Golden Sombrero.
  18. Andrus probably would do a better job than Pedro. He has a lot of MLB experience…
  19. Sox are a ground ball machine. Tonight was the first time I saw our hitting coach when he got ejected. Do we have an effective hitting coach..I wonder. I presume he is a crony of Pedro.
  20. Remi is the only guy refusing to be embarrassed by the As.
