  1. TA needs to be taken out of the second spot. Switch him with Remilliard and bat him 9 th. He has been a rally killer. His mind is not in the game. He also had two bad throws to first. Pedro needs to act, he seems afraid to confrontTA.
  2. WTF is TA still hitting second? Struck out again and his first two swings were full, no intention to go the other way to move the runner over to 3 rd. Pedro is too stubborn and unable to adjust with TA. We are leaving lots of runs on the table with TA hitting second.
  3. You are right. Frazier has been worse than Sheets, and we need the left handed bat IMO.
  4. I changed my mind about benching TA as long as he is hitting in the 7 th to 9 th spot. Never again leading off or batting second until he gets back to past hitting success.
  5. It is great that TA is practicing hard, but let’s take him out of the second spot. He can execute thee results of his work from the bottom of the line up. You cannot afford to be hitting second with a less than .100 avg ahead of Robert.
  6. Don’t know why Graveman threw a strike to Ohtani. The gopher ball was in the middle of the plate. The 2 Sox runs in the 9 th really helped.
  7. Great question. Not for his hitting.
  8. A one in a century event. A Vaughn triple. I don’t think will ever see that again.
  9. Walking Ohtani has worked out fine two times today.
  10. Still I hope this is the last game I see TA batting 2 nd. He should be hitting towards the bottom of the lineup.
  11. When you are hitting about .150, you don’t have many opportunities to flip your bat.
  12. He should have gone to the plate without a bat or with a 4 pitch take sign and would have had a walk.
  13. The bottom of our lineup has been pathetic most of the season.
  14. It worked out to give Ohtani the Barry Bonds move. Do not let Ohtani beat us is a wise strategy.
  15. TA batting second is one of the reasons for Robert’s many solo homers.
  16. How much longer is Pedro going to keep TA hitting second? TA has failed to set the table for Luis, like Benintendi is now doing leading off and taking walks. TA defense has also been poor. He failed to cover second in the bottom of the 9 th. Fortunately, we had a big lead tonight. In any game TA plays, he should be hitting in the bottom of the lineup. These actions are no brainers. IMO.
  17. The Sox had a pretty tough schedule to begin the season, so it figures that we will have an easier schedule towards the end of the season. The question is whether it would be too late.
  18. We should worry more about the Guardians than the Twins.
  19. In the college World Series they had starting pitchers going 150 pitches. I am sure there was no pitch count. However, I would be concerned about arm injury at that many pitches. But it can be done. In MLB back in the day starters went longer and there were many complete games.
  20. Might as well tried a bunt instead…
  21. Taking Sheets out was brutal. He is not that slow, and had hit the ball hard tonight, and is a lefty. Why do we need that many pinch runners when we generally cannot manufacture runs anyway.
