I believe the Sox pitching is leading the majors in strike outs. We should have an advantage there.

I hope you are right. Part of my opinion is based on the White Sox having the best home record in the AL, and they are the only team in the playoffs with a losing record on the road. Food for thought.

Don’t forget Boston Red Sox is a big national brand, so we can’t assume that the Sox game will have preference on TV. These schedules are dictated by the TV stations.

This is another reason why we needed to win HFA. If first game would have been at GRF we would be a heavy favorite not a heavy underdog in Houston. What good would resting our stars and punting so many games be, if we do not go beyond five games. What good was to overpay for Kimbrel if we don’t go beyond the Houston series. This why the HFA should have been an integral part of our strategy.

Weak links at LF, RF and C. - Starting pitchers A. (A+ without Keuchel). - Relievers. A-. (A without Wright, Foster, Ruiz) - Manager/coaches. C. Many inexplicable decisions and too many punted games. - season success. A Overall grade. A-

I didn’t mean to derail the thread to soccer. My point is that we have our own CR7 star in TA7.

CR7 is still the best and highest scoring soccer player in the world. Who is better? Regardless, TA7 is another star using the same number. On TLR, will need to agree to disagree on some of the takes. If we go beyond the first series I will gladly eat some crow with the TLR takes.
