I was very glad whenTLR didn’t rest any of our stars tonight, however he should have rested Keuchel.

Should have let Cubs face Charlotte instead. They are in the same league.

Could only be done with a lineup that did not include Mendick, Lamb, Goodwin, Seby and/or Collins, which are mostly rallykillers.

I don’t think this Cubs team would be competitive in AAA ball now. It is not a major league quality team.

I would say it is now the most dangerous lineup in the majors. Anybody can hit a home run at any time. There are no Goodwin, Lamb, Mendick, Seby or Collins weak spots to kill rallies. You can’t get an 8 run inning like tonight with those backups on the lineup. You combine this lineup with our starters sans Keuchel, you are very hard to beat.

No Goodwin, Mendick, Seby, Collins or Lamb in the lineup helps along with none of our stars resting tonight. Only lineup issue was starting Keuchel

He is not going to do that. He is a Cy Young Award winner who thinks he is still a Cy Young award winner type performer.

Soxtalk tends to be on the pessimistic side, after so many years of frustration and disappointments. But with the full lineup back, except Engel, the needle will start moving towards the optimistic side now.

Should have started ReyLo tonight. Keuchel has been horrible lately and ReyLo has been pretty good. Also ReyLo reminds of JLo and Keuchel of ZZ Top. Who would you prefer to watch?

Keuchel was not as bad in past seasons and ReyLo was worse. Now things have flipped.

Aren’t Civale and Beaver coming back soon? If they do, we should worry some.

He does not have the stuff to be in the zone, feels that he has to nibble. Keuchel should not be starting anymore games this season.

Cesar had a great game yesterday, but immediately regressed in the first inning with two bad plays that opened the gates for the Cubs.

This is the best position player lineup of the season. Unfortunately, paired up with our worst starter by far. Can we switch ReyLo for Keuchel in the rotation? Giving up 6 in the first inning to a minor league team, most of the runs with 2 outs is unacceptable.

Who is calling for the slider, the bench, Sevy on his own or Kopech on his own?

Because he is not a good bullpen manager. He has also taken out some relievers out too soon as well.

TLR likes veterans like Bummer and Ruiz, and Crochet is basically a rookie.
